I was the victim credit card fraud on my business account. Two fraudulent charges were credited to Ultimate Grant Secrets. All the fraudulent activity was refunded back to my account by my bank EXCEPT for one charge from this business -- why? Because they fought the charge -- declaring it to be valid even though it was clearly fraudulent. They seem to have acknowledged that the first charge was fruadulent -- but they fought the second. Does that make sense -- to anyone?

So now Ultimate Grant Secrets has my money and they refuse to refund it. The customer service representative I talk to, who goes by the name of Lynn, was rude, officious, dumb and unhelpful. She actually claimed that the company doesn't have my money and that there was nothing she could do. Bull****.

Ultimate Grant Secrets rips off victims of credit card fraud. The company has no ethics. Do not do business with them.

Multiple People Envolved In This

AUTHOR: Andrewh - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 27, 2009

Hello, I just finished writing a follow up to another persons report for other grant writing software scams.

http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/432/RipOff0432085.htm

I found a site that had picked the top grant writing softwares,prices of each were less than $2 to have the software CD mailed to you. I purchased the top 3 titles linked to on that list. I received 2 of them, and didnt bother worrying about the 3rd, since it was only a dollar or so. Got my bank statement in yesterday, have the following out of place charges on a total of 7 different days;
---------------------------------
GOVTFUNDEDGRANTS - 40.74
NEW GRANTS TODAY - 69.49
HLD*GrantHelpOrd - 74.95
FRAUDPROTECTION - 7.08
Bill Pay W/O Pin - 16.20
Bill Pay W/O Pin - 54.00
Bill Pay W/O Pin - 27.00
IDENT SECURIT - 10.14
SBA TARGETS - 13.68
-------------------------------

This is alot of hassle for what was supposed to be a few dollars spent to help fund my training in pursuit of a new career after loosing my job. I do not have the name of the website, as I was on someone elses computer, as mine was in the shop that day. I will check with the owner of that computer and see if any info may remains on his machine. The names of the 2 software discs I received are Ultimate Grant Secrets, and Grant Resource Guide. I beleive these companies have rip-off reports under multiple names, but it was obviously the same scam for my 3 different purchases.

I plan on getting not only a new card number, but a new bank account number also, just to be on the safe side, and have removed the software from my computer, even though I beleive it to be legit,I can't be too careful.
