Unicars Honda ripoff. WE GOT THE SHAFT from Unicars Honda dealership ..Double check your contract

On Dec. 29, 2001 I went shopping for a new Honda Accord EX with my wife. After test driving a new 2002 Accord, the finance manager Mark Drews came out to meet my wife and I since we were dealing with an inexperanced salesman.

He told us he could put us in a 2001 Accord, exact color and accessories with a full 100 thousand mile warrenty and save us 3 - 4 thousand dollars. He explained the bumper to bumper warrenty would cost us 2,100 on the new car and he would sell us the used car and as an added incentive throw in a butler package (valued at 549.00).

This sounded good to us so we set about making the deal. My complaint is that they stalled around for so long we were late for an engagement and should have left but didn't. By the time we sat down to sign the contract we were very late and in a hurry to sign the contract and get on our way.

Later when we had time we looked over the contract and found he had charged us 1,195.00 for the extended warrenty he had told us was included with the new car and for the butler package he had also included to make the deal look better.

After repetedly trying to get answers over the phone, my wife and I drove back to the dealership and spoke with John Hagar another Manager who basically told us we were liers ...their dealership would never give anything away for free.

I showed them the DUE BILL where the auto butler was noted and at the bottom where it stated no other free work promised or implied.

To make a long story short...WE GOT THE SHAFT from a Honda dealership. Now I find out my credit did not get approved because I'm over extended and called to find out who I was financed thru.

I was told don't worry we'll get someone to carry the loan one way or another. I asked about what happens if I don't get financed...I would like my truck back....Sorry...we sold it. So make sure you never go to purchase a car when you have something pending...They will take advantage of your stress for time.
