Universal Hyundai Sold a wrecked car and they lied about it Orlando Florida

My wife and I bought a 2012 Certified Pre-Owned Hyundai Sonata from Universal Hyundai. We were told by the salesman and the manager that the car had never been in an accident. They lied and said that it wouldnt even qualify for the certified pre-owned program if it had been in an accident. Two months after we bought the car we took it to a different Hyundai dealer for service and they informed us that the car had been in a front end collision and that it was so obvious that it would have been imposible for Universal Hyundai to have done the certification inspection and not know that it was wrecked. I checked the vehicle history report and it showed and accident reported only 3 months before we bought the car. I called Universal Hyundai and told them what I knew and they had us come in. I thought they were going to correct the situation and make it right. instead, they tried to sell us an older car for more money and offered us $4000 less than what we paid for the car as a trade in. This is only two months after buying the car. They said they are not under any legal obligation to do anything.

I would not buy from here. There are other Hyundai dealers such as Oxxxxxx, Hxxxxx and Hx. They knew the car had been wrecked and represented that it had not, then they tried to make more money by selling us a different car that was 1 year older and $2000 more and only wanted to give us $4000 less than what we paid for the wrecked car that we purchased only 2 months prior. We got ripped off!!!
