First I ask to ship my gold coins.  I am told I am a criminal just for owning such things.  Then I get a box and get the run around about who I am.  I hav e a United States passport that says WHO I AM, so there.  but they are really prejudice about anything they think is un american so watch what you do here, they will invent nonsense if possible.  better to avoid.  I wish I had.

this is exactly why no one should ship with you.  You suspect everyone and report everyone.

It appears that you have a personal problem, not a complaint.

Perhaps it's only semantics to you, but there is a significant difference between being unamerican and not American. It is very nice that you have a United states passport. With restriction, it allows one a period of time to be in the United States without additional privileges over that which any citizen enjoys. If this were never the case, the United States would not be a country anyone would have any desire coming to in the first place (especially while taking into account the integrities this country has lost in the past few years). It appears that you are explaining that your experience escalated into a problem, but you are vague as to what the complaint regards.

There's nothing wrong with shipping gold coins, so please elaborate on the issue explaining what your problem was about. If you were trying to insure gold, you'll need a certificate of that gold detailing it's purity. Since the gold was in the form of a coin, you would not be able to process a claim. No carrier insures any form of cash.

Showing a valid form of I.D. is mandatory at any and all UPS facilities, whether it be a The UPS Store, hub customer counter, or a retail middleman business. Requiring I.D. is for security, not to inconvenience your little world.

Curious. You mentioned 'they are prejudice about anything un american'. The term unamerican alone would raise an eyebrow with any American, would it not? Or do you feel America has reached the point of being more unamerican than American? Gold is not unamerican. Owning gold coins is not unamerican. Skin color is not unamerican. Your cash trade in any American business is as good and anyones. What specifically is your point as to why anyone would treat you as "un american"? In detail, assuming your word is true, describe the events and words exchanged so that readers may understand your concern. What nonsense are you claiming they invented? Was there anything of your personal conduct that you would be less than proud to reveal during your bothersome experience, or anywhere else for that matter?

And by the way, prejudice, real or perceived, is an ethics issue. It is not a 'ripoff'. If you persist on wasting energy over petty issues of which any recourse offers no constructive compensation, you'll have little or no energy left to pursue what ever may be left of the American dream.

"So there."

Just how did they know you were shipping Gold Coins?  Not only that but how come once they told you that it was criminal why did you THEN look for a box?  How come you didn't walk out right then and there?

Also, just how much in coins were you shipping, where were you shipping them to, and what type of gold coins were they?
