My house received extensive damage from a severe hail storm in April of 2016.  The hail was mostly the size of softballs and some even larger. 

Having to deal with the loss draft department at US Bank is a total nightmare.  When submitting required forms online to them, they say they never received them.  Some forms had to be submitted three times.  If you want them to get something, fax it then get a fax confirmation. 

The forms finally get processed after they receive them all, and this make take up to three business days they say, it usually takes a week or more.  Then they have to process the check request which may take an additional week for the request to process.  Finally, a check is cut and processing again.  Everything is in processing.  After weeks of processing I finally get a check.

Now it is time for a 50% completion inspection which was requested one week prior to inspection as their processing center requires.  After ten days, I call them back and said no inspector has called to set appointment.  I finally get an inspector to call, but they can't do it for an additional three weeks.  After back and forth with the loss draft department regarding the inspection, the fourth inspector came out immediately and said the property was 90% complete, which means I can get the balance of my money released. 

The loss draft department was trying to process my 50% completion check and as always they have to process it.  The 90% completion inspection may take up to three business days just to process the inspection report (it actually means when they get around to it).  What they tell you and what you get are completely different.  

When I call the loss draft department, and ask why I haven't received a check I was supposed to receive, they respond "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry to everything I ask.  They are sorry.  They are the sorriest bunch of people I've had to deal with.

This company needs to step up and get into the 21st century.  If it takes so long to process everything they need to update their equipment or get some people in there that can do their jobs.
