When a company or individual joins the Ripoff Report Corporate Advocacy Program, they must make a commitment to us – in writing – to 'doing whatever it takes to make things right with their customers.' What does that mean? It means that Ripoff Report expects that members of our Corporate Advocacy Program will review and respond to ALL customer complaints promptly. It means that every complaint will be taken seriously and every customer will be treated fairly and with respect. It means if a customer did not receive what they expected, the company will work with that customer to fix the issue. It means that if a customer requests a refund and if there is any reasonable basis for that request, we expect the customer will be given a prompt refund (some refund requests may not be reasonable, so this does not mean a refund is guaranteed in every case). “Making things right” can mean lots of different things to different people, but our point is this - by working closely with the company or individual to resolve any disputes, Ripoff Report can track the footprints of customer service to ensure that our Corporate Advocacy Program are doing everything they can to treat customers fairly and to increase their customer satisfaction.

Ripoff Report cannot ever guarantee any product or service, but we can only report what we find, in order to help you get a better understanding of the company or individual we are investigating. That having been said, the conclusion Ripoff Report came to after our investigation, to the best of our knowledge, is that this company is a reputable firm, offering products and services of real value.

The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Jason Rubach during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases toward US Standard Products.

US Standard Products was created to meet the needs of purchasing manager’s in almost every industry in the United States. The company has call centers that reach out to businesses across their country and provide B2B purchasing solutions.

Jason Rubach stated, “Our vision is to really get involved with and meet the needs of our customers. We want US Standard Products to be a resource for company purchasing agents and managers seeking a high level of personal guidance in their choices and ideal product selections to meet their needs.”

The company believes that their sales agents are highly trained and able to develop enduring relationships with their partners in order to understand their business needs and improve their performance while minimizing company’s downtime. Mr. Rubach continued, “We realize there are a lot of options that companies have online and we have found that there is a really a niche to be filled when companies need special attention they just can’t get online.”

To attain leads, US Standard Products uses different lead sources available to businesses. A typical experience would when a prospect would receive a phone call from a US Standard Product Rep and introduce themselves and the services with an attempt to make a sale at the end of the call.

All sales are obtained through phone calls and customer interaction. Once a sale is made or sent into US Standard Products, that day or the following day, the verification department calls the prospect to verify the terms of the sale, quantity, price, shipping, and billing terms. After this is completed, US Standard Products begins to “work for the [client].”

The customer service representatives at US Standard Products are trained to end their calls with, “Is there anything else I can do?” Mr. Rubach explained, “We found this is a philosophy that helps to resolve problems to the complete satisfaction of our customers. We follow up with emails, phone calls, or faxes to make sure they have agreed to the resolution and are satisfied with everything.”

US STANDARD PRODUCTS – CUSTOMER SUPPORT & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION

During the on-site interview, when Mr. Rubach was asked about complaints, he stated: “We have been very fortunate. Based on the large number of sales that we make, a very small percentage of sales have led to a customer not being satisfied with our services. In those few cases, there are times when they don’t get the product they were expecting. This can happen when the transaction completed through a telephone conversation. We immediately look to either exchange the product or have the customer return it for credit.”

Mr. Rubach went on to explain another type of issue that may occurs when a buyer may exceed their authority in purchasing for their company, buying material they should not or buying a quantity they do not have the authority to purchase. In these cases, the process is the same: immediately attempting to resolve the problem to the satisfaction of the customer by taking the product back or coming to another resolution they are satisfied with.

To manage complaints, Mr. Rubach personally monitors every issue that comes up and follows through with the solution until the customer is satisfied. At the time of the on-site interview, there were no specific complaints filed on Ripoff Report against US Standard Products.
