USBI, One Call Comm rip-off! Fort Wayne Indiana

I found that my story is similar to some other reports. Lately, I have started to get all kinds of porn pop-ups. I close them out promptly. I also had an icon appear on my computer one day, I deleted it from my system and uninstalled it.

I called the number listed on my Verizon phone bill 1-888-476-8724. The first time I called the gentlemen said we had a bad connection and asked me to call back. When I called back I was on hold for quite awhile. The gentlemen that finally answered was very rude and pushy. He told me the call had been traced back to my phone from a caller id system. The call was placed to Diego Garc. I have never heard of it and I believe it is in Mexico. The call also occured on Columbus Day while I was at work and my computer was turned off. The gentlemen told me the call was placed through a 10-10 number. This means nothing to me.

I continued to be persistent and tell him it was just not possible that the call was made from my phone line. He even tried to tell me that someone had broke-in to my apartment and plugged a device into my phone line. This was laughable!

Finally, I asked to speak to a supervisor. The gentlemen asked if he had not answered my questions. I told him the answers were just not possible and asked to speak to a supervisor again. I was then placed on hold for a short time. When he came back online he said a one-time courtesy refund was being credited to my account. I was also told that he would be blocking my phone from the service.
