USBI Peak Communications Misrepresentation Equals Ripoff Orange California

A sales agent from USBI called our home and talked to my wife.  He told her that we would save money by switching our long distance phone service from AT&T to USBI.  He told her that we were paying ten cents a minute for our long distance service from AT&T.

However, since we make a lot of long distance calls, we had a long distance plan with AT&T with unlimited long distance calls.  My wife did not know this.  She agreed to switch our phone service to USBI.

Consequently, our phone bill with USBI was much higher than what we were paying with AT&T.  I called AT&T to switch back.  I also filed a complaint through the Better Business Bureau and the California Public Utilities Commission.  This all takes time out of my day when I have other things to do.

I would like to see this company punished.  They are making a bunch of money off of this scam.  I think a class action lawsuit is in order.
