My father and I signed up for usight and since I am an intelligent creature, I thought that my ship had come in. This was over two weeks ago and today is Monday the 29th of Sept.
It all looked good until today. We received a merchant account through Bridgeview Bank and everything was and is in order. Then i stumbled on to the rippoffreport.com. I was floored.
The reason I mentioned the merchant account is that I tried to go to www.best-payment.com and nothing happened. Then I called Best payment solutions and 866-289-2265 to ask why they don't have a website and the lady hung up on me. All this was info was on a letter head sent to us.
I was heated so I called Bridgeview Bank and they told me that they no longer own Bridgeview Payment Solutions and that it was sold which I found online. It was sold to a company in Kentucky called NPC company. (www.npc.net). HOLD UP?! Bridgeview is in Illinois and they sold it to a KY company then why are they based out of Tampa? Best payment solutions even touts the fact that they are tied to NPC on their letterhead.
I called NPC and they have no real info about Best Payment Solutions and they sound professional enough that I believe them. The helpful lady at NPC said that the company might be a subsidiary of theirs but they had not heard of it at the time of my call.
This is scary. I called USIGHT. They said that I should not worry and that bps was the background co. and that usight ran the gateway.
Q. IF YOU RUN THE GATEWAY AND THE COMPANY IN THE BACKGROUND DOES NOT EXIST, SHOULD I TRUST YOU AT ALL?
I am now on the verge of rage. Best payment solutions
1. The envelope says that they are at:

2. The letter head says different:

NPC says that they aquired Bridgeview in June. How long does it take to figure out that you need a website if you are a multi-million dollar a year company.

I chased the bank around and found out that no one knows what is going on. National Processing Co. NPC says that they are still trying to acquire Bridgeview Payment solutions but all the info is still controlled by bridgeview.
I called bridgeview and the lady told me that NPC acquired BPS and that they now own it. If this is not crazy tell me what is.
The customer service number for Best Payment solutions is in Nebraska (800)858-1166 and one of the ladies said that the office is in ILLINOIS ((877)877-8164 and another office in Tampa Fl.
If Usight had told me all this upfront, I would have found my own merchant account. Everytime I call usight, they try to sell me something. I WILL NOT sell any website to anyone if they have to endure the 'will you buy this and that' crap everytime they have a technical question. It will make me look bad and I don't like looking bad.
I think it is time to Get while the Getting is good.
