I am a recent college graduate living in a new state. I was working part time and trying to maintain paying my rent bills and credit card bills. My hours at my part time job dropped significantly and I needed some cash bad. I had borrowed from two places and they worked out fine. This past month I went directly to two sites that I knew were good and borrowed a little more. After paying my bills and everything, a few days later I checked my online banking account. There I saw a $30 draft from Vantage Funding. I had never been to this site in my life and I was shocked to see my money gone. I'm on a fixed income just to stay afloat these days due to my financial situation. Every penny counts for me. I sent two emails to Vantage and I called them twice. The first rep I spoke with gave me some bull about a $30 fee is charged if you are pre-approved for a loan with them and I was supposedly pre-approved. But I never applied and I didn't want any money from them. He kept reading his script and I could tell he was aggitated and he hung up. I called right back and another rep fed me the same bull the first one was reading. I asked for a supervisor and he put me on hold three times and I never talked to a supervisor. The way it sounds is I'm never going to get a refund. But I made sure to let him know I will call again. I'm in no position to let this fly. This has happened two or three times to my account and it has always been refunded. I'm so upset.
