Vititar Sakar Support/Warranty Fraud Edison New Jersey

 I called the Technical Support line and found they had no knowledge of the products and immediately started to accuse me of damaging the camera and kept badgering me. I called again the operator told me to hold (less than thirty seconds) and then proceeded to tell me that I told the first operator that had recorded me stating that I had dropped the so called sports, action camera and that I could therefore not return the camera for inspection and or repair. The package only states that the camcorder has a one year warranty, inside the package it states that it only covers defective parts and assembly during the production process and denies any malfunction of the camera even if it was not physically damaged. The last operator (who claimed to be a supervisor) I spoke with stated that I had "man handled" the product and refused to help me, claimed that Sakar was not affiliated with Vivitar at all (Sakar bought out Vivitar) and that my warranty was voided. I had to badger him for the corporate address and phone number, he gave me an 800 367-3288 number and told me that they only took calls on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I called the number to see if it was even real. The recording did not state any company name only that the operators were only available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This was a dead end line with only a recording and no options, it just a recorded loop of the above mentioned information. Finally after realizing that any items sent to them were simply dumped in the trash and that they would then inform the buyer that it was not found to be covered under there warranty. I called the support line and demanded that they send me a new Vivitar DVR 787HD Action Camcorder, then I would sent them my defective one but only gave me a Confirmation RN1504270031 over phone but would not send me an email including the Confirmation number and shipping tracking number. When I called them back about the above mention email I was told a new one had been mailed on 4/29/ 2015 and would arrive one 5/01/2015, which it did. Unfortunately it was massively taped and the sending address was from Sakar Customer Service Dept. I video taped opening the package and the contents. What I found was a bulging taped up Vivitar DVR 787HD box, the battery was dead, the camera was scuffed and did not turn on when charging. I called the Vivitar Support and was transferred to the NJ headquarters Customer Support Manager who would only state his name was “Garrick” and refused to give me his last name. I explained the problem and was told to wait and see if it worked after fully charging and to contact him on Monday if the item still did not work. It does not turn on and will not keep a charge. I will be calling “Garrick” on Monday 5/5/2015 12:00pm at 732 248 1306 Extension 286. I am 100% sure that the sent item had been retrieved from the trash bin and sent to me maliciously on purpose.
