I feel completely deceived by VividSeats! The actual seating location was deceptively portrayed in the seating chart when I purchased tickets for the Roger Waters concert at Fenway Park in Boston. I bought the tickets in February for the July 1 event and was charged 5 times the face value (the actyual face value of tickets is not disclosed at time of purchase).

Based on the seating chart provided by VividSeats, I chose and was willing to purchase (at a premium) seats located 4 rows from field level. Instead, upon arrival at the stadium we unpleasantly discovered that our seats were located some 40 yards further back -- way back!! -- from the described location. Terrible seats that I never would have purchased at any price!

I will never do business with VividSeats again and this is a warning to everyone else to avoid these scam artists.

Response from VividSeats Customer Service

AUTHOR: Mark R. - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, July 06, 2012

I have received several emails and phone calls from VividSeats.com during the past few days in response to this posting and finally got around to calling them back late this afternoon (7/6).  Spoke with Matthew Baker, Customer Service Manager, who stated that their research into this matter confirmed that I had selected two seats located in FieldBox 22 as displayed on the seating chart provided at time of purchase but was actually placed in the upper GrandStand 22 section.  Matt was very apologetic for the incorrect information displayed in the seating chart and went out of his way to rectify the situation.

VividSeats.com offered a FULL refund of the purchase in order to gain my satisfaction and regain my trust as a customer.  Matt stated that the credit should post within 7-10 days.

In terms of providing prompt, courteous, and fair customer service regarding this erroneous transaction, I would give VividSeats.com high marks. Matt acknowledged (and empathized) politely regarding my unpleasant buying experience and in turn offered a full refund of the purchase. What more could a customer ask for? Thanks Matt.

I will update this report once the credit has posted to my account.

the seating chart provided by VividSeats.com

AUTHOR: Mark R. - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 03, 2012

I wanted to add photos of the seating chart provided by VividSeats.com to show the seat location I was led to believe that I was purchasing. According to the VividSeats.com description, the seats I purchased were located in FieldBox 22, Row 4. Based on the seating chart provided, my expectation was that these seats were located only 4 rows away from the field directly facing the right side of the stage. I was unable to capture a screen shot of the seating chart for the Roger Waters concert since it has already occurred so the images provided are for the upcoming Bruce Springsteen concert at Fenway Park however, the seating chart and descriptions are identical.

Photo 1 shows a view from the actual seats during the concert SECTION 22, Row 4 which is closer to the back of the stadium several yards from the actual Field Box seats at field level. It is also important to point out that the actual seats were facing the LEFT side of the stage a completely opposite view from that shown in the VividSeats chart which indicated we would be facing the RIGHT side of the stage.

Photo 2 shows the VividSeats.com description of FieldBox 21 (again, this is for a different concert because the Roger Waters seating chart was no longer available since the concert has passed. FieldBox 22 is adjacent to FieldBox 21.

Photo 3 shows FieldBox 22 as being directly adjacent to the field (circled in red). If this were an accurate representation, Row 4 would be only 4 rows back from the field facing the RIGHT side of the stage. However, as you can see from Photo 1 that was taken from our actual seats, we were not at all near the field and were actually facing the LEFT side of the stage.

Photo 4 shows the seating chart with the VividSeats logo

I paid $724 for two seats I expected to be next to field level but instead received two seats valued at $80 each located in the back of the stadium.

Very deceptive.
