Vonage Rip off on disconnect of service after almost 2 years Kalamazoo Michigan

My current billing with Vonage shows we have been an active customer since March 2007. We recently relocated and decided to go with our cable company for all our services. I called Vonage to cancel my service and was advised there would be a $39.99 per voice line as outlined in their terms of service. However, there is no time element involved with the terms of service. As outlined in Article 6.1 Service Term, they claim that service is indefinite. Imagine that.

In February of 2007 canceled my Vonage Service and no additional charges were placed. I sincerely believ that nay company who's stock is only worth 91 cents a share as of the date of this report must be looking for a way to make up for their financialo problems. I have no problem with paying the final phone bill which is $50.00 and some change. I will let the Michigan Public Service Commission and the FCC make the determination on the legality of "indefinite service". Beware of Vonage
