 My actual cost versus my estimate was three times higher! I believe this company gives you a low ball estimate to get you to sign a contract and than hits you with their actual cost when it is too late for you to do anything about it. I mean, honestly, what can you do on your moving day to hire some other company immediately. The answer is none, you are stuck and they know it. The movers arrived over 4 hours late. The movers arrived with a truck that was too small for the contents of my apartment. The move had to continue into the next day. They actually tried to charge me for this oversight on their part. Can you imagine? I was stuck paying an additional month rent ($1400) to the landlord because my things were still in the apartment on July 1st and the new tenants could not move in. When my belongings did arrive after a month in storage (their facility) many, many things were broken. Almost all of my large pieces were broken. This included 3 bedroom sets, a china hutch, and armoire and bookcases. Some boxes, containing expensive audio equipment were now mysteriously empty. The movers failed to resemble the furniture and refused to place the items where I asked them to. They refused to take furniture upstairs. A large 9X12 foot rug was actually left at the original location and they have refused to pick it up or reimburse me for it. A convicted felon was the foreman on the job who was not shy about telling me about his conviction on cocaine trafficking. Really. This unprofessional clowns are criminals and thieves, please beware and use another moving service. Learn from my mistake.
