My husband and I found this company on craigslist as a rent to own home. The guys we met seemed friendly and helpful until we moved in. Our 50" LG tv was stolen three days before christmas after the home owner sent his contractor to install some outlets covers ; as we had a growing 9 month old. We called the owner and he never contacted us until about one hour later. After we spoke to hime he said to call "jerry" his contractor to aske hime some questions and to tell hime that someone video taped the robbery. This was all a scam from the beginning. We later found out that the house had mold and a roof leak. After filing the police report during the investigation we were told that the number that "Jerry" gave us to his electrican belonged to the owner of the house. Our case was later closed ; just recently on Friday we we burgurlize again after the owner changed the locks our 37 inch tv , dell desktop with the monitor and two hard drives were stolen after the locks were changed.

Mrs Yvonette France - Mallari seemed nice too, until she moved in!

AUTHOR: Scott - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 19, 2012

These TVs were Rent-to-Own as per a conversation with the finance company who called to verify she was a resident.  Seems odd multiple items she hadn't "paid" for yet, went missing!

The referenced "Lock Change by the Owner" was due to an eviction.  Mrs Yvonette France - Mallari's second eviction with us and doing some research just now, she was also evicted from the residence prior to this one as well!

Mrs Yvonette France - Mallari was removed from the property with a balance of $6,246.  We worked with her after her first eviction by making a payment plan and hoping to get her and her family back on their feet.  This kindness didn't work out for us as can be clearly seen by the large balance and the fact we are writing here on this website.

If Mrs Yvonette France - Mallari ever "finds" these TVs, we would appreciate any value of this property to be put towards the balance owed to our company.  We don't expect it and believe neither does the prior landlord.

At this second eviction, Mrs Yvonette France - Mallari was not present.  As a further kindness, we let her use a key (the one after the locks were changed) to remove her property at her convenience.  There was a lot of stuff inside.  We wish the "thieves" had taken the rest as well.

Here is a quick video to document that she was not present at the time the sheriff and the locksmith were all there because she had not kept her financial promises and paid her rent!

The TVs were Rent-to-Own as per a call from the financing company to verify Mrs. Yvonette France - Mallari lived in this residence.  Having more than one disapear seems unlikely to us.

The "Owner changing the locks" happened because Mrs. Yvonette France - Mallari was evicted.  This was the second eviction for this tenant.  We thought helping her by making a payment arrangement would allow her and her family to get back on their feet.  As we found one month later, doing our second eviction, we were wrong.  Doing research just now, we also learned Mrs. Yvonette France-Mallari and here family were evicted from the home prior to renting this one.  Leaving us with a balance of $6,246.  Much more than the likely price of both TVs, if either TV is found - we would appreciate having the value put towards the amount owed to our company.  I'm sure the landlord she had prior to us would also appreciate anything toward the balance.  We don't expect to see it though.

This is also the first we are hearing of the SECOND missing TV.  This TV was at the property at the time of the eviction.  Mrs. Yvonette France - Mallari was not.  As a kindness to help her, we let her use the new key (after the mentioned lock change) to remove her property at will.  We recorded a video of all the belongings located in the home at the time of the eviction.  Mostly to document the state of the home, something we only do in extreme circumstances.  The condition of the home warranted it in this case.
