Webb Ford Poor Brake Job from service department Highland Indiana

On 9/9/13 I took my 2008 F-150 into Webb Ford in Highland In to have the front and back brakes done. In regards to the front brakes, on a truck they are not suppose to be removed to have them machined (cut) due to the hub being built into the motor. The rotors should be machined on the truck with a mobile lathe. The service technician Clayton Mullen removed the front rotors to machine them, the right front sensory ring broke which in turn broke the speed sensor. The cut was also poor work which caused a taper on the front outer pads, they go from 6mm-8mm. Now this all needs to be replaced. 

All the problems happened within 700 miles driven from having the work done. The truck is now non-drivable and stuck in Charlotte NC at a Ford dealer there. The repairs to the mistakes that were made are going to cost us $938. 

I spoke with Vince Shaughnessy -Service Manager at Webb Ford vshaughnessy@webbford.com and they are taking no responsibility for their actions. That the most they can help me with is $109 for the original resurfacing of the front rotors, not any of the cost of the damage they did to the sensors, rotors etc of $938. Also, that they could only help me if I brought the truck in for them to look at however, it is stranded over 700 miles away, no cost of towing would be reimbursed either. 

I have contacted Ford Corporate that said they can not help me since this dealership is a franchise and I can only deal with them, also the BBB. 

 

I would like to get this information out since this could have been a life threatening situation. The brakes are completely nonfunctional and could have caused an accident, injury or death due to the poor work performed by the dealership.
