I was with them starting 2006 and the last few years are have been nothing less than Horrific. My site was Always bouncing up and down and each time they would say it was code in my site when my site was just simple text.

I referred other business owners to this service and all of them had the same experience. When I finally tried to get away from them they kept delaying the transfer of my domain names then tried to charge me hundreds of dollars to leave them.It got so bad I took the expensive step of re- branding my marketing material in order to use a new domain name.

If you value your business relationships do not refer them to anyone,If you value your business DO NOT USE THEM !

Response to consumer complaint

AUTHOR: Darren H. - (Canada)

POSTED: Thursday, May 03, 2012

The complainant's website became inoperable due to his domain registrations expiring February 16th and their website hosting services suspended for non-payment.

We did host the complainant's website and believe we have a right to suspend web hosting services if the fees are not paid and the usual email notices to the customer by the automated hosting/billing system are not responded.

In addition to that, we searched our ticket system for tickets raised for the domains listed regarding website issues or anything, and only found one ticket in the last year.  If the website was constantly going up and down, we cannot find any tickets from the customer in the last year requesting assistance.

The domain was registered through our webhosting panel that feeds into our Enom reseller account.  If the customer does not pay for the domain registration renewal on time, then Enom automatically suspends the domain which stops is website and email hosting services across the public Internet.

As per ICANN rules, Enom can and does place the domain registration suspension into a Redemption period  and charges a sizable fee to recover the domain.  Most of the other large registrars do the same thing and that fee is not within our control.

We have been a successful hosting company serving thousands of customers for over 10 years.  We are sympathetic to this individual's situation and understand their frustration.  Hosting companies cannot expect that customer's understand or need to understand every facet of what goes on in the background of website hosting and domain registrations.  When a website goes down and email stops flowing the customer's logical first reaction is to be upset at the hosting company.  However in this case we hope that visitors to this site and this report can understand and appreciate this individual's complaint is mis-placed.
