webster camera and repair Lying...thieving....ripoff...untrustworthy...company! webster, Texas

To start...i took my camera lens in on December 6, 2010...i get a call a few day later says it cost $150 for repair...so i asked okay whats the price to just buy a new one....old white guy named Woody says about $500 so i figure better deal to just have mine repaired! i call back in Janurary since i hadnt got a call...says hes still working on it....i wait....no call... so again i call back....im told they'll call me back....i wait...waited til march....i call back...woody answers and i ask about my lens and he cant seem to find me or my lens in computer...i wait a day i go in to talk to someone because i didnt get a call back, with reciept he finds me in computer, and told Vincent the repair guy isnt in...he'll call me when he does get back in....im called the next day my lens is ready....im told by Woody my lens is ready the "part" just came in that morning and its ready...like can you seriously repair a lens in a few hours....i was just thinking okay im sure itll be a crappy job...its a long drive so i tell him okay ill be in on the weekend....he called me and my husband everyday from Tuesday til Friday and is told everyday by myself ill be in on the weekend to pick up and he still call my husband...since my husbands at work and cant answer his phone and leaves messages how they are not responsible for items left too long..blah..blah...blah...! Annoying! I get to camera shop and check out lens and pay....im shown old part he "replaced"....a few customers were in so i didnt get to look to closely and i forgot my camera so i used one of their...i pay and leave get home put it on my camera and it doesnt focus at all....so again long drive i didnt want to drive back that same weekend but in the mean time think well maybe its my battery, i recharge my battery and try agin still nothing...upon closer inspection i relize its used as in very used...like old....its all scratched up and dirty and dusty and mine was much newer....i took it in and pointed that out to Woody and he told me to stop and that there was no way to prove that...he gets Vincent and in my conversation it comes out that sometimes he uses parts to repair and whatever so i asked what and where he keeps his parts and hes brings out a box a shows me "my own orginal lens"that he didnt relize was mine when i pointed it out he admitted he "replaced" my lens....well its June and hes still "repairing" it...almost 7 months later and he still wont even give me a refund or my lens....new story is supposedly they have now shipped it to Nikon...he also in this time kept my camera so he "figure out the problem" and i have dirt and dust in my camera which now need to be cleaned!
