I contacted Wells Fargo in Septemeber of this year because I was having issues with making my payments because of my husband's illness and us only having one income currently.  I have had issues with them in the past their customer service is just awful.  I have never experienced such awful, unconcerned and inconsiderate people in my life.

So I made a forbearance agreement and the went over everything with the representative and even wrote down what we talked about because of my past experiences with WFHM.  I was told that I could call in a make payments on the agreement with out having to pay the $20 processing charge.  I called back a week later because I had not received the agreement in the mail and the representative stated the same exact information to me that I did not have to pay the $20 processing charge because I was under the forbearance agreement.

When I called to make my payment the representative was rude Cindy was her name and she tells me that I have to pay a $20 processing charge.  I informed her of what I was told by both representatives when I set up my agreement.  Me and Cindy go back and forth.  I ask to speak to a supervisor, Cindy then tells me that they are going to tell me the exact same thing so did, that I have to pay a $ 20 processing fee.

So now Allyson gets on the phone who is a supervisor or senior representative and tells me because my loan under a certain type of modification and not regular modification that I have to pay the $20 processing fee.  I told her that I was not paying a extra $20 and that I would just mail in my payment that was due on the 30th.  Today is the 29th

So if I would have known that I had to pay and additional $20 I would have sent the payment off earlier.  And when your under a forbearance agreement you can not use their website to make payments.

I really wish they would sell my mortgage.

Payments for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage

AUTHOR: Anonymous - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 02, 2010

I had a problem getting WFHM to post the payment to my mortgage by the 15th of the month.  If it was a few days early, they held the processing till after the 15th showing late.  They would charge a late fee, and show me late.  Until.............

I go into a Wells Fargo Bank and pay before 3:00.  On their receipt, it states: Payments recieved by 3:00 pm will be posted on todays date.  I have had to show numerous times the payment was made by that date with a time stamp to boot.

Screw them on their own terms.  If not you will loose.

No, I guess the bigger issue for me is that your company WFHM has poor customer service.  I stated that I could have mailed the payment off earlier if I would have known that (a) I could not pay online and/or (b) that I had to pay a fee that was stated to me in the beginning that I didn't have to by both Janice and Azul.

Sell your mortgage?

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 29, 2010

Who do you want them to sell your Mortgage to?  If you have trouble paying your Mortgage do you think any company would be any better?

Now, should they have told you that you didn't have to pay the $20 if it turns out you do..of course.  But if your payment is due on the 30th it WILL NOT arrive in time if you mail it.  Unless you mail it overnight guaranteed, and that is going to cost you in the neighboorhood of $20.

Are you really going to let $20 stand in your way to keep your house?  If they don't receive the payment tommorow, they will use that as a reason to void the agreement.  It is going to take much more time and effort than that $20 to get anything put back in place..IF they even they give you the same offer again.

Oh and when you pay it in the future be sure to not send it regular mail.  Always send it Certified with Return Receipt so you can prove when they got it.
