Me and my husband are owners a small business, we decided to get our merchant services with wells fargo after speaking with our banker about it. ( WORST DECISION OF OUR LIVES) everything was going smoothly until my MISTAKE my husband pressed an extra 0 on a customer transaction. 

we were suppose to charge the customer $1,000 and instead he charged the clinet $10,000 at closing we noticed the error immediately called the client back ( who hadnt noticed) and he came in next we REFUNDED THE $10,000. 

Later that day we find out that wells fargo merchant services has FROZEN our account , they took $950 from our business account $350 from our PERSON ACCOUNT, and was holding our funds that we recieved thru the merchant. we called out banker immediately and she said the merchant services department had our account under investigation because the error we made the day before. 

We kept running our business believing since we returned the money we had nothing fraudelant that we would recieve our money within the next couple pf days.

On Monday we go to the bank trying to resolve the issue, they are still holding our money (that had nothing to do with the merchant) and they got into our personal account to which I find outrageous of course to cover their a*s the returned what they took from our personal account, but the risk department MARICAR ( which by the way was extremely rude and unproffessional) told us they were going to hold $9,678 we proccessed thru the merchant services for 90 DAYS !!!! because they felt like it. 

 No customer called in to make a fraud report, it was a simple error in to which we are almost $10k short, they went into our personal account , not only are they holding the merchant funds but also took money from our business account causing us over drafts and late fees with our suppliers. 

We are recently informed that if they feel like NOT GIVING  US OUR MONEY BACK they wont, we have our lawyers working on this issue, and are extremely dissapointed with the poor proffessionalism of wells fargo and their merchant services staff. 

if you want a merchant for your business I would recommend Blackstone we had them for years and made the mistake of leaving them for this crap, PLEASE DO NOT GET A MERCHANT WITH WELLS FARGO YOU WILL REGRET IT !!!
