The wells Fargo in Sioux falls south is an extremely unfair place for some people to work. The stories I've acquired and my own personal incidents are tremendous. 2003-2007 They cater mostly to females and have been known to treat males more unfairly.

A good start to explaining this would be... in the last dept. I worked at wells Fargo in Sioux falls catered to someone who treated other team members really bad. This person became very rude towards another team member because she didn't want to do something regarding her work and started yelling at the other team member using profanity extremely loud. The other depts. surrounding this dept. clearly heard what was going on.

When the person that was getting this abuse went to discuss it with the dept. manager...the obnoxious person stormed in and interrupted saying as she threw the paper across the managers desk "I'm not f___cking doing this" The other team member quietly said she would discuss it later with the manager and left. As the obnoxious went on complaining and crying...the other innocent team member was visibly upset as well. When the innocent team member went back to discuss it with the manager...the managers response was....oh shes just having a bad day. As far as everyone could tell, nothing was done about this incident.

Not less than a year later, the dept moved to another area and was in the process of still being completed when the same obnoxious person complained about all the dust that was being caused by the maintenance workers....then got very loud and starting yelling profanity and kicking the maintenance person's bag of tools. Later when she was asked to come to the office...she of course cried and such and after a while, returned to her workplace as if nothing had happened. Once again, as far as anyone could tell, nothing was done.

When the maintenance people returned, the manager just made sure to accommodate the loud team member by having her work somewhere else while the maintenance people worked. This is only a bit of what goes on at this wells Fargo building.

Once one team member stopped to talk to another team member in another dept. and his manager physically grabbed his shirt and pulled him away saying, "you need to get back to work". I made the mistake of breaking policy*unfortunately I wasn't aware of this policy or things would have been different* this past feb. I left without telling anyone until I got home later. I was having a really bad day and my manager didn't help. I was helping another team member and she came along and said.."can i help with something?"...clearly making me feel as if I was doing something wrong. I said no that I was helping this person and we got it figured out. That in combination of other incidents from a previous dept. that I worked in *same building* was enough to reach my boiling point. I thought what I'll do is leave and cool off...I didn't tell anyone because I didn't want to get into any confrontation. I found out a few days later that I was to be put on permanent warning.

Now I had worked at wells for over 4 years and I have never heard of anyone having permanent warning. Even the person that gave people such a hard time clearly wasn't put on that particular warning. She broke 2 policies I'm sure when she shouted profanity towards people and she's still there. When I told the other head manager that I couldn't stay with that permanent warning hanging over my head, she said OK without hardly waiting for me to finish. I've been saying (which probably was a lot of reason I was targeted) that the managers there get away with so many things and treat people so unfair.

My wage when I started was 9.10 an hour...4 years later when I quit it was 9.88. I was a level 5 performer for awhile and I was either at average or above in my previous dept. My then manager had gave bogus reasons why I didn't get much of an increase, even though I almost always had helped a deaf woman with communication during meetings and questions she needed answer. But my social participation was listed as very low. I have more information as well as others I know that have their own horror stories...some of which will/would shock people beyond belief. More on that later...
