Westchester fireplace and BBQ Broken promises, unlicensed in Putnam County, No permit elmsford new york

We bought a fireplace from them after confirming they were licensed inPutnam County. It is propane fireplace and you need a permit. Months have gone by. Since waiting we found out that they originally never intended on getting one. To our surprise they stated "it is not necessary" but my town and other towns do not agree. Since then stories continue to change... "paperwork not ready", "boss out of country", "paperwork done but no one is available to go to the town hall" then I was told "the truth is my boss does not see this as a priority".

I then threatened to review them online which changed their tune immediately to they would come to my house for the last step of install and they would get the permit done. They came for the install step but alas a week later there is still no permit and no one calling me back. Run do not walk from Westchester Fireplace! Many other places to go in Westchester and Putnam.
