Women Traveling The World Jennifer Vander Lind Refuses to refund deposit Internet Internet

Women Travelling the World took my deposit BEFORE telling me the trip was not for sure and BEFORE telling me the deposit was non-refundable.  No refund terms were given to me until after she had charged the deposit to my credit card.  If i was able to travel on short notice, I could easily shop for a better deal.  She refuses to communicate directly with me any more.

 Coral King booked a tour and then decided to cancel right away because the tour was not yet a guaranteed depaerture. She agreed to the terms and conditions prior to making her deposit that a cancellation on her own terms would result in not getting her deposit back. She was sent several emails explaining the terms and conditions which she refused to accept. She was told she would happily be refunded if the tour did not become a guaranteed departure. This was still unacceptable to her as she wanted an instant refund. All terms and conditions have been clealry presented to her as well as the refund policy. She is making this complaint with out justified reasons.

Tour Payments: To reserve space on any tour, a deposit of $500.00 per person per tour is required at the time of booking. No reservation is considered confirmed until the deposit is received by Women Traveling the World. The deposit is part of the final payment which must reach us no later than 60 days prior to the start of the tour. Returned checks will incur a fee of $25.00 For all deposits and tour payments, we accept personal checks, Visa, Master Card, Amex and money orders and bank drafts. Missing the final payment deadline may result in being removed from the tour.

Cancellations and refunds: The tour deposits are not refundable if you cancel for a non insured reason. All cancellations must be sent in writing via email. Do not consider a cancellation received and effective until you get a cancellation confirmation.
