I received a very normal looking email from this company known as "World Voice News". It stated that they were looking to fill a position for an Administrative Assistant, which is something I am interested in doing as I am desperately seeking a new job. The fact that the job was with a news reporting agency was all that more enticing to me and I was genuinely excited to have been given this opportunity to work for a news/bloggers organization. Sounds great right?

Well, soon enough I would find out that there was no real opportunity. Or at least, not in the sense I had hoped for. I followed the link that was on the body of the original email and it led me to the website with an application. I start to fill out my information, but when I get to the bottom of the contact info, it forced me to pick a prize from a 3rd party vendor.

After I do that, it took me through many surveys and asks that I complete 3 of them in order to get my prize, you know the usual BS from those pop-up ads. So after minutes of aggravating surveys, all of which I said "NO" to, it finally ends me on a webpage that asks me to apply for a First Premier card (another rip-off company I am dealing with).

Needless to say, my hopes for applying and being considered for the job were dashed after dead-ending on a credit application. So, I requested to be removed from World Voice News' mailing list, but here's the kicker - today, I received another email from them stating they got my application (what application? The 8 lines of contact info I typed in?), but they needed a little more information from me. What kind of crooks are these guys?

Well, as good as this job sounded to me, I decided, especially after reading others' complaints about this company, that I would give up, even if they are halfway legit, which I sincerely doubt. Don't be fooled like I was by this scumbag company....or by TooSpoiled.com, which I also received an "offer" from. ERASE YOUR MESSAGES!!
