'WORLDWIDE TIMESHARES' RIPOFF - AGAIN!
I found Ripoffreport.com too late also...they're trying to get me for $799.00 too!! The claim is still in dispute...

The following is a letter that was sent to American Express in regards to my November, 2003 episode with a secondary market timeshare real estate company called WORLDWIDE TIMESHARES:

Sent to:

American Express
P.O. Box 7863
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33329-7863
1-888-258-3741
Attn: Allen

Dispute Reference Number: C333455

Dear Allen:

I am writing in regards to the above noted dispute claim # C333455 as per your written request for the misinformation provided to you by WORLD WIDE TIMESHARE.

The following documentation will give you details as to the circumstances surrounding the status of the disputed claim (Reference Number: C333455) of $799.00 against WORLD WIDE TIMESHARE.

I have names, dates, and other information necessary that will provide proof that this charge to my credit card account was made with false information and under false pretenses.

The amount was charged to my account prior to completion of the necessary hard-copy contract. Legally, I had three business days to cancel or confirm this business transaction do to the fact that I needed to discuss this with my husband before they could provide the selling service that was offered in return for payment.

Rick Wilson with WORLD WIDE TIMESHARE told me that there was already a potential buyer, that day, for the property noted. I would miss the sale of this timeshare property if I didn't give them my credit card number NOW to get the process started. They would send a contract through the mail, to be signed, to confirm my authorization to sell this property. I didn't sign this contract; therefore they were never authorized to sell this property. My account was not to be charged without this authorization.

I was told that there were immediate buyers available to purchase this property. I was never informed as to how it would be advertised, etc. I cancelled this agreement on the following business day via telephone with Leslie because Rick Wilson wasn't available to take my call and was told he would call me back. I didn't get a call back. On the third business day I followed up with another phone call to the same number. I spoke with Loretta. Rick still wasn't available to take my call but Loretta assured me that the agreement was definitely cancelled. She would have Rick Wilson return my call. The full credit would show up on my American Express account within 30-60 business days.

I have never received any returned calls from Rick Wilson. AFTER the cancellation was made, I received only a contract through the mail that I didn't sign because I had cancelled the transaction within the (legally) allotted three business days twice!

The documentation that was faxed to you has no web address noted at the bottom or anywhere else that I can see; note the line blacked out at the bottom and I have been unable to find this sight (using several search engines) online. However, what I did find was a statement from Rip-offReport.com noting a similar complaint with seemingly the same scenario concerning the company WORLDWIDE TIMESHARE. (The category listing was under Corrupt Companies). I have enclosed a copy of this report for you to read. I will also be sending a similar complaint to this web site about this same company in hopes that this kind of unethical business practice will be increasingly brought to the attention of the public.

WORLDWIDE TIMESHARE was not authorized to make the charge of $799.00 to my account. The Agreement was cancelled within the legally allotted time frame twice. The charge was made without the written consent needed on the contract for confirmation.

Thank you so much for your time and energy.
