Bad staff, hostel, cheats on prices, price fixing, dangerous neighborhood

This hostel is very large, 350 beds. I was there over a month and the place was mostly empty the whole time, yet they insisted on charging me a much higher rate than reasonable. The manager yells at paying customers for not knowing to put their dishes, utensils away after eating, even though all they have to do is post a sign to cleanup after breakfast.

I paid for a bed in a six bed room with a bathroom and was then ripped off by them having 2 other rooms full of people share the one bathroom.

When I told the manager I had an agreement with his associate to get the monthly rate and was overcharged he yelled at me, implied I was lying and refused to refund money telling me to leave earlier than what was paid for there.

The manager also was upset I addressed him as sir(first time I hever heard that type of complaint and Ive done customer service for large hotel chains) instead of his name which he would not tell me and they dont give out there last names or you use name tags like in a professional hotel, so they feel no accountability to paying customers. 

They have a rule not to eat in the rooms but have a closet size room with a small refrig that they expect anyone with food to store there instead of a kitchen.

They offer dinner in the evening for 7.50 euros but hardly anyone shows up, the staff are extremely rude so hardly anyone pays for that as well.

They also have people there staying free on govt programs with issues and the paying guests are made to deal with that as well not to mention no discounts while they get govt subsidies.

This business is very dishonest mismanaged getting govt subsidies while refusing to offer reasonable prices(as I wrote, the place was at least 80% empty almost everyday I was there and I suggested the manager lower prices and the place would fill up but common business sense was lacking).

The manager was extremely rude and I told him being so rude to customers paying much more than most of the guests paying for few nights was unprofessional.

Another business manager cheated me on our agreement for the monthly rate as well and then denied she made the agreement even though I showed the printout of what she agreed on for the rate, that she raised on me afterwards.

I also had to get the card re magnetized several times, no thankyous from staff to paying customers or decent manners.

I suggest this business be boycotted until they get decent management and staff.

The building is nice and there's some art in it which is unfortunate because there's potential but the staff/management is so bad it ruins the place.

They also allow people doing drugs in front of the building harassing guests.

Strongly advise to do not stay at this place due to poor management/staff and dangerous neighborhood.
