I signed up for a plus! account for convenience in DL extra episodes of certain animes I liked to watch. It was easier than searching for a torrent because I was backlogged at work & busy.

I thought I could DL a few then cancel. I was wrong. When I tried to cancel my subscription I could not find a place ANYWHERE on the website to cancel. I thought it was odd but then decided to send an e-mail to their e-mail address plus@narutofan.com & did not get an answer after I waited 2 weeks.

I then attempted to contact them via their supposed customer service support threads. My first attempt was deleted mysteriously & not by myself so... obviously some admins did it or someone else did. I was ignored once again. As of today I have written another private message to one staff member stating my grievances & desire to cancel. I have also set up another thread via their support system but have no answer as of today.

I googled this company after having so many problems & found I was one of MANY who had the exact same issue. When you sign up via paypal the company conveniently checkmarks the "subscription" option & makes it clear that you can cancel at any time. Not true. This is where I believe the fraud begins. I also think since the box is so small many people brush it off & don't even realize they are being charged the measely $5 a month on their bank statements.

I believe also that the company staff benefit from this convenient oversight by many. & I also believe the company staff benefit from ignoring the numerous requests to cancel. There is no faq on this website on how to cancel. If you go to the forums that are linked to it..they tell you to go to the customer service support threads where you are also ignored.

I find it very fishy that I was ignored by everyone & finally I was lucky enough to find an old closed forum post that was originally trashed (thank goodness for google) that detailed exactly how to cancel the subscription via paypal. It was obscure & difficult to find. & the paypal subscription process was also equally obscure & difficult to find but I did finally cancel my subscription.

I am still very upset that it took this long to do so (3 weeks! & I've been billed already). But I am only out a tiny amount of money but I still believe that there is some amount of fraud going on here. I also found numerous postings of people having problems receiving the product (bandwith for download) after paying extra. One person had fraudulent charges show up on their bank account after signing up. Many more had the exact same problem I did. They wanted to cancel & signed up under the false premise of easy cancellation.

I am posting this on ripoffreport because I believe this is an absolute ripoff. I googled & found many angry people out there accusing Tazmo the founder of this website of all kinds of illegal activity. I don't know about these latter accusations but I do know...

1) They do not allow you to cancel your subscription to plus!
2) They ignore any requests for such help
3) They make it easy to sign up & difficult to cancel & falsely tell you that it is easy to cancel & you can do it at any time
4) They charge you anyways & as far as I know NO ONE has gotten a refund

This alone is fraudulent in & of itself & I believe it should be illegal.

NarutoFan service not good but Subscription Cancelation made Easy!

To all those having concern and problems with their subscription you will find the Paypal cancellation solution here:

1. Log on to your paypal account
2. (Should automatically bring you to 'My Account') Click 'History' tab
3. On the drop down menu 'Show' select Subscriptions
4. In the date 'From' enter the time when you FIRST PAID SUBSCRIPTION - this is of the utmost importance, because if you are to just go to the last date of payment it will simply be a transaction not a subscription.
5. When you have found it (even if it is years old) click on its 'Details'
6. The page will show you full details of your subscription, scroll down to the bottom and there should be 3 buttons.
7. One of these buttons should be 'Cancel Subscription' click it.
8. Your subscription should now be canceled by Paypal.

NOTE. Any additional problems - make a note of the subscription number found at the top of the 'Details' page and phone Paypal Service Centre

Naruto Fan do provide a good fan service with very fast subtitle translation and are convenient they just need to clearly give details of canceling subscription.

I privately messaged a staff member AGAIN in an attempt to have my complaint addressed.

No answer. As of today was deleted. My support thread request is still open & not replied to so it is not deleted.

I filed a BBB Canada report after retrieving some of the public company info from the web. We will see if they even respond to it.

Here's a quote from their staff webpage:
"Please note none of the staff on this page can help you with NarutoFan PLUS! issues. "

Interesting. So if they ignore your customer service requests & delete them. If they don't allow you to post on the forum with questions. if you can't even message the staff for help.

Where do you go for help? Botswana?

If you attempt to go to the forum you get blown off because of this:

Have a question, comment, or complaint about a forum issue? Well then come in and tell us. Note: NOT for NarutoFan PLUS! questions."

Uh huh. I did post a message in there about my problem & stated there NEEDED to be absolutely a BIG HUGE posting on how to cancel. I also PMed the person who said "oh i made it in the giant FAQ" umm. at the bottom of the giant FAQ & he also seemed to miss my point that the plus! accounts are poorly run & that the customer service is nonexistent. stuff that if someone had posted about via the forums would've made it easy to avoid setting up any account period.

I said make a separate sticky & close it to comments. How hard is that?

Anyways. I believe there is a serious problem with the entire website & the forum.

It seems, you are not allowed to complain & you are not allowed to ask for help.

You are to give them your bank account info & be ignored after attempting to cancel multiple times.

I find this absolutely ridiculous. Basically everyone associated with the website & with the plus! staff especially seem to love to ignore anyone who wants to receive anything faintly resembling customer service. & they seem to also garner great joy from ignoring everybody there. Not good. & very very bad behavior. But I am guessing it is to be expected when most of the people on there are probably teenagers or younger.
