Yellow Pagea Nationwide .. America's Pride RIP OFF! BEWARE! MISLEADING & FALSE ADVERTISING, FRAUDULENT BILLING Carrollton Texas

I added my small business to our local yellow pages directory. I received mail from Yellow Pages with an ad for a Free Listing. The ad clearly stated free listing: This is not a bill. Your listing will be omitted if you do not return this form, and a Free enhanced online listing. So, thinking my new yellow pages business ad would be removed if I didn't return this form, I sent the form back thinking it was going to my yellow pages office.

A few months later, I received an invoice from Directories NAtionwide America's Pride for Yellow Book regarding my listing, stating I owed $298 and my account was past due. I received several harrassing phone calls at my business number listed from them trying to collect the supposed money due. I was told in order to avoid collection procedures and having it affect my credit negatively, that I needed to submit the amount due immediately. I was never made aware of any fee. This billing is extremely misleading and fraudulent. I asked for a copy of the invoice to be faxed to me. It was faxed by Johnny Ramos at (phone) 1-800-497-5332 Ext. 1192 at a company called Greenburg, Grant & Richards, Inc. 713-789-0137 However, I never athorized advertising at this fee and a portion of the paperwork faxed to me is NOT the paperwork I originally saw--and assumed it as for my new business listing with the yellow pages. It looks as though it may have been pieced together.

I never even was aware there was a fee until they called harrassing me and my business address is listed incorrectly. This company continues to call on a daily basis at the number listed for my business- leaving threatening messages regarding my credit.
