Bert Briones is an attorney in Tustin California. He takes money from people under the guise of settling debts with creditors.

What he doesn't tell you is that if you cannot complete his program, all of your money invested in said program usually goes to fill his pocket, but nothing to the settlemnt of your debts. It is in the contract but hidden beyond normal scrutiny, and very difficult to understand without another lawyer to check it.

The worst kind of Rip Off, preying on helpless people who are down and out and breaking them further.

It should be noted that we are going to criminally proceed against this firm with the help of the Attorney General's office.

We will further pursue this matter in a large class action and would like to encourage anyone else victim to this predator. He is relentless, not sad, showed no remorse, and very poor judgment.

Our civil case is mounting based upon the retroactive precedent of the new debt law set into motion this month by the Federal Government. If this precedent for retroactive releif is granted, everyone will be entitled to the same type of relief. Further, we will seek punitive damages for the completely detrimental advice from this attorney, and pursue his license if need be.

Please feel free to contact us for further information, but only through this venue, as this attorney is beyond good faith or even virtue. His firm will be liable for his actions if we prevail.

This was a particular client who reported us to the State Bar of California. The good news is the State Bar even researched their claims as they do in every instance. We showed proof to the Bar this client received many hours and hours of attorney time, negotiations, and communication from our office on a more than normal and frequent basis. The State Bar of California found no grounds to verify any claims made by this client. We are sad this client didn't take our advice and then expected to receive a full refund after the work had been put into his case.  If you had provided this client a service and then he decided after all your work, he didn't want you to keep the money owed... what would you do? Unfortunatley, we can't work for free and that expectation is unreasonable. Thank you for hearing us out. Feel free to call us at 714-604-4220 to verify this information.
