I delivered my 1966 Mustang to this "business", later to found out to be unlicensed, on Aug 13th, 2006. And paid $700 up front to commit to a contract that was later signed on Nov. 13th, 2006. Upon my return again from working in the Middle East. Even the picture he used on his website dated Aug 27, 2006 proved this. And as proof of that the picture was taken at 6:22PM on Aug 27, 2006 using a Kodak C330 digital camera as was the picture of the Bronco II that was taken on Oct. 8, 2006 at 5:48 using the same camera, then posted on the internet on Oct 22, 2006. But according to Richard Cordon III's perjury statement under oath in Small Claims Court on Oct. 20, 09, "it's wasn't delivered until Nov 13, 2006. His own camera and the website postings, tell on him. So who's the liar now??????

At this time Nov 06, Richard Cordon was working on a Bronco II that was being "restored". More on this later, with pictures.

Work was finally started, and I have 3 different DOCUMENTED start dates from Ratstang Restoration, RR, (Apr 07, MONDAY May 14th, and June 21, 07, documented) so who really knows when it was started. This was perjury in court, later in the statement.

I personally visited at least 4 times between Summer 07 and Aug. 08, when returning on R&R from working in Iraq. This was also lied about in Small Claims court by Ratstang Restoration. "He never came and visited so we couldn't get his signature of any additional work orders". Not the only documented perjury. More later.

When scheduled VIA email in May 08 to pick up in Aug 08, it still hadn't been painted, nor was the body work done. 1year + working on it?????? Then after at least 4 scheduled picks prior to July I finally informed him that the next scheduled pick up, is July 3rd, 2009. Of course, it wasn't painted then either and Mr. Cordon informed me that you owe $1,179 for materials and work, IN CASH, or you can't have your car. See a pattern here???? I even had to take a Weber County Deputy so as to protect myself from this business. Even thou scheduled to arrive at 2PM, on July 3rd, 2009, which I did, the place was locked up, with personal cars blocking the driveway. Have a nice picture of it. It had all the appearence that if I had stepped on the property, RR would have called the cops on me to have me arrested. Yeah, I was one step ahead of him on that one. Pissed them offf having a cop walking around. Nervous as a "long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs". Have some nice pictures of that too. Which RR didn't want taken.

So I recovered some of my parts from this "business" on that date and informed them to get it done and we'll see you in court. Later in Small Claims Court, they claimed to finish it on July 5th, 2009. Another pergury in court. Which upon my direct request, VIA a public website to the previous customer, the Bronco II owner, if he would go and check on the Mustang. This was 3 weeks after it was "finished". The owner of the Bronco II reported back to me on a public website, copies available of statments, that RR was still working on the Passenger door and trunk lid, both which was still unpainted as of July 27th, 2009 when he personally inspected it. Along with a lawyer's Private Investigator who also verified this work, "I CANNOT VOUCHE FOR THE 66 MUSTANG"?????? This also was another instance of documented perjury RR committed in Small Claims court by both him and his mother. RR's mother even had the odasity to tell the Judge that "he's just a irresponible child and doesn't know what he's doing". which is the only time she really told the truth.

"In conclusion so you can draw your own conclusion", (I like that line because you can always tell who's writing the comments, rebutts, tech articles by the wordsmithing when someone uses the log on of IXTLAN and RATSTANG, instead of getting thier own, to do it), I refused to pay for work that was unauthorized, not completed, (contract says paint inside and out and RR's own pictures show the inside unpainted, "took it out of context"), shoddy workmanship, birddropping quality welds, unassembled and intentionally and blantantly, misassembled. Even when provided $8,000 in new parts and correct fasteners. He couldn't even bolt the trunk lid back on due to misaligned rear fenders. Then lied on the internet how "the cheapa$$ didn't provide the trunk hinges", when their own pictures they took after the car was dropped off clearly shows the trunk hinges. After being paid $9,300 up front. Which was $1,300 over the agreed "estimate". My lawyer Chris Edwards, failed to do what he was paid for, must be a Utah thing, sueing them for damages and returning my car. If my lawyer had done what he was paid to do, Utah thing, They wouldn't have been able to use perjury in Small CLaims Court, to rip me off for another $2,430. For materials that no reciepts could be produced for, (probably can now that they had time to "find" them) labor that was "IN WRITING prior to the contract signing" "NO ADDITIONAL LABOR COSTS", from RR. Have an several emails to prove that one also. The judge called him on that and his mother tried to blow it off. The judge even had to order Mrs. Cordon to remain silent because the Judge wanted Richard to answer the questions. The judge ended up doing this several time over the 1 hr 20 mins of perjury Richard and his mother spewed out. I was given 5 minutes to rebutt all the lies and easily knocked them down from the $10,000 they wanted to $2,430. But it was 6PM and by then the Judge was tired of listening to his perjury, even the court deputies could see the lies, and just wanted to go home and get away from them.

I finally picked up my car on Oct. 27, 2009, took another Weber County deputy with me to protect against the Cordons and upon arrival, Mrs. Cordon had a "paper" she drafted up for me to sign or the car wouldn't be returned to me, releasing them from any legal action and stating how I wasn't to inform anyone of their "activities".  Ratstang Restoration used illegal extortion, "can't have your car back until you sign this", have witnesses to this also, which I refused to sign. So after telling them to remove their "statement" all I would agree to is that I have my car and parts back. Which I signed, and never did agree to "no contact or that the contract is completed". Money won out and that's all they wanted. You should have seen how fast Richard's mother grabbed the check out of his hand. He didn't even have time to close his fingers around it. Have copies of both papers, mine and theirs since she posted theirs on the internet. When the deputy went to check the door VIN tag it was missing. Richard Cordon had removed it and had it locked up in his garage, intentionally with holding it from me, the legal owner. The officer had to order him to go get it. Along with the VIN panel he had illegally removed that was hidden outside under a blue tarp. Have some nice pictures and 2 witnesses to this also.

Upon getting the car home I started to inspect the damage done to it by RR and upon removing the painted over fender bolts, the illegally restamped factory VIN was discovered. I have the pictures when the car was dropped off, and picked up, and it was in his possesssion only the whole time, so you be the judge. The VIN stamping was done so poorly, it's unreal. Have pictures for that too. Well, Utah DMV obtained a search warrant of this "business" works out of the garage under the house at home, where he still lives at the age of 21. And after evidence found, Weber Cnty DA charged Richard Cordon III, with Felony VIN part tampering, Misd, unlicensed business, misd, illegal salvage of body parts. Out come on this is actually unknown at this time.

Richard Corodn III even had the immature, unprofessional conduct to post pictures of the 1968 Mustang he was working on after the 1966 Mustang, even when the owner, in Richard's words, didn't want anyone to know about it because it was a surprise. But yet Mr. Cordon is posting pictures of it and telling all his "buds" about it. Mr Cordon even stated how "I don't care if he wanted it before Xmas, he'll get it done when I feel like it". Took 4 more weeks after Xmas and has been back to finish what wasn't completed. Maybe less time playing internet games for 40+ hr per week and he'd had it done. But then just like mine he spend time working on other vehicles and posting it on websites, while lying to me about work he wasn't doing. He even made the statement on one website, "well I better go down and look like I'm doing some work". But I was working in Iraq and unable to "supervise" his work on my vehicle.

Orriginally the contarct was to help his business start out by using work on my car to advertise his "business". Any real business person knows, that you get advertising by what do you, good or bad. So all the 2500+ pictures he took, hopefully turned out better then the work he did, are all for his "trophy" wall. Just like Ted Bundy when he was in Utah keeping his little "trophies".

And yet another question, since this was an unlicensed business doing illegal, unauthorized work, what ever happened to all that HAZWASTE from this "body/paint shop"? Had to get rid of it somehow after all these "projects". Cause I sure didn't get rid of it. EPA where are you when we need you?

RSR

Well its been nearly 1 and this illegal operation still hasnt been able to get a business license. Well maybe the Cordons' have now figured out,
1.     That the city of Hooper is smarter then they think.

2.     Or maybe they just figured they'd go on ripping people off anyway.

My vote is on number 2. Why should someone that been doing this and lying about everything else they do, change now. Until they do some hard time, and probably not even then, they'll keep on doing it.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS FAMILY OPERATION

If you have any dealings with them call the Weber County DA and report them. Businesses like this need to be put out of business ASAP!

Update Part III

AUTHOR: Wolf - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, April 23, 2010

Well once again Ratstang Restoration, Richard Cordon III, has chosen to illegally post UNAUTHORIZED pictures on his unlicensed businesss website and other websites making them now liable also. Possibly trying to convince everyone that what he has done was legal.

First off, as the owner of the 66 Mustang used in the pictures, NONE OF THESE PICTURES ARE AUTHORIZED FOR USE OTHER THAN BY MYSELF. Doesnt matter who took them, IT IS ILLEGAL TO USE THEM OR even POSSESS THEM IN ANY WAY OTHER THEN WHAT THE OWNER SAYS YOU CAN. Since there was breech of contract by Richard Cordon III the contract allowing the use of pictures from my 66 Mustang has been NULL AND VOIDED. As you can also see all the dates have been removed to protect someone for some reason. Where as previously posted pictures, some even the same ones as these now posted, showing the date the picture was taken and the camera used, which is displayed when checking the pictures. Shows just how much more guilty someone really is, just as the stunt of calling someone a LIAR. Only defense a person usually has when they know theyre guilty. I figured that once I said that I had dated pictures showing even the camera used, and I do, Ratstang Restoration couldnt resist posting pictures, but only after the date has been changed to possibly COVER UP THE DATE OF THE CRIME. Theyve proven this again and even stated on a public website how, See anyone can change pictures to whatever they want, not so green anymore is it.

Some people just cant figure out that the law does apply to them. But when youve been breaking it for so years and been getting away with it, whats the difference now. I also see that Mr. Cordon even choose to only show the welds he wanted you to see, blurry and from a distance too. Probably done by someone else anyway. Not the bird dropping welds on the floor pans, trunk area, fenders and other areas, he also covered with tape and bondo to hide and probably hope they wont leak when it rains. If he even cares. Then the posting of a graining picture, (at the very end of the over 2000+ pictures) mostly likely he couldnt find a better picture from any of the books, magazines or internet websites to post that picture of a weld from. Because Ive inspected every inch of my car inside and out, under it and under the dash, trunk, frame work, pulled the front fenders off, (they had to be aligned because they were put on so poorly), and every inch of it and that weld isnt on my car. I even had to disassemble the whole suspension and put it back together right. If it had been on my car the picture would have been taken far enough back to prove otherwise. If youve ever been around welding much, you know that a weld is just like a signature and the style is unique to each welder. This one and only picture, is someone elses signature, especially when compared to all the other bird dropping welds. Now we should see a new doctored picture for that soon too. I have the car now so I have inspected it completely. Available for anyone to inspect those welds that are the truth and not what someone wants you to see or think. Anyone have an extra set of Rose Colored Glasses or maybe some of those 3D ones I can borrow to look at the amateur pictures and welding that Mr. Cordon actually did himself? Mr. Cordon did show the interior that wasnt painted, which was included in the total price, as per the contract, (breech of contract on his part). I guess has reading comprehension and literature skills are just as poor as his welding, body work and painting skills are. Thank You for those evidence pictures. So tell me Mr. Cordon how is it that the clear coat you psprayed on, peals off like a cheap plastic stick on window tint? The paint is even starting to flake off already; it must be this harsh Nevada climate? Reading on Utahstangs.org this seems to be a major problem that Mr. Cordon still hasnt gotten figured out yet. One comment was how his painting on a guys car looked like water colors.  Now he didnt show the unpainted area under the dash (still even had rust on it), inside of the doors where the windows and door handle linkage go, metal rear seat brace/divider, metal rear seat fire safety divider, and the interior rear panels that werent painted to name a few. Mr. Cordon was delivered a bare completely gutted shell of a car with no glass, wiring, interior, engine, trans, no front fenders and only enough suspension and tires to roll it around and still couldnt do anything near an amateur level job. Misrepresenting himself on his website and other websites to be the Best of the Best of the Best. Mr. Cordon already knew that all fenders, trunk area, etc was to be replaced with new parts also. Even the whole suspension front and rear was replaced with new parts I provided during the Restoration. Including new fasteners for all the body parts too. I even have the pictures I took immediately upon leaving his Body Shop showing the new suspension parts barely attached to each other and installed improperly. Where are those pictures Mr. Cordon? Then those hard to reach spots that barely even have primer sprayed on them too. Nor did Mr. Cordon show the numerous over sprays and missed areas, (also breech of contract) that he was even paid up front to paint properly. All still uncompleted after working on it for over 2 years. Why not show them all? And this one is priceless how the cheapa$$ (that is the public website nickname that I was given by Ratstang Restoration along with the other one on their pictures customer from hell real pro here) couldnt even provide us the trunk hinges to mount the trunk lid. See if you can figure out how to wrap your mind around that one? Even when Mr. Cordon IIIs own pictures CLEARLY shows the old trunk lid and hinges to be used still bolted to the trunk hinge mounts along with the trunk lid torsion rods. My guess is they were too complicated to figure out how they went back together. Wasnt a big problem for me, pretty quick and easy! I even used Mr. Cordon own pictures of the trunk hinges for examples!

Mr. Cordon also seems to have left the pictures out of the chrome lug nut on the suspension tie rod, wheel lug nuts only barely started on the wheel studs not even holding the $1300 tires and rims on; misaligned strut rod mounts on the front radiator support, and the green in the silver gray paint. All this probably because of beginner level paint skills by Richard Cordon III. Which 2 of the local body shops looked at the paint job and couldnt believe such a beginner level mistake. Richard Cordon III is still today trying to get advice on how to do paint and body work. Only way this green paint could have happened on a silver gray paint job is poor paint mixing just prior to painting. By the time I rescued my car on October 27, 2009, some of these parts and areas of the vehicle also were starting to rust due to the documented fact Mr. Cordon probably stored my finished car outside, uncovered and exposed to the weather while also trying to charge me storage fees. Thats how unpainted areas showed the rust from being left outside, exposed. I guess this was another business opportunity that he figured was going to make some money for him.

The nice thing is now I have even more evidence, from Richard Cordon IIIs own pictures of the illegal drivers door VIN TAG REMOVAL. His first picture its there, his next picture its gone. Saved for later use somewhere else? Because it wasnt on my car when I picked it up as required by FEDERAL AND STATE LAW, because the Deputy had to order Richard Cordon III to go get it out of his locked garage. Thank You for the evidence of your INTENTIONAL CRIME OF ILLEGAL TAMPERING OF A VIN. Utah title 41-1a-803 & 1313.

Also in the pictures that are posted, it clearly shows who changed out the VIN panel even with the 65 Mustang that the old VIN panel would fit in easily, right in the pictures background. Probably why Richard Cordon took such great care in removing my VIN panel so as to be able to use again. But just because the picture of illegally restamping the VIN isnt with these newly unauthorized released pictures, just means that it would be even more evidence of the crime. You know, like the fools that video tape themselves, smashing a house up, or shooting someone with a paint gun. Then have to have that little photographic trophy for themselves. I also noticed that in the picture, there are no rusted spots cut out on the old VIN panel. You cant use that as an excuse for replacing it. Must have been a last minute idea for another reason.

Now why would anyone change the picture dates? UMMMMMmmmm because they would be telling on themselves that the car wasnt finished on July 5, 2009 as they lied about. Or that is was delivered on August 13th, 2006 as proven with emails and pictures, that are also evidence. It even shows how the car was left outside in the weather as I stated that Sherry and Richard Cordon tried to make me pay for storage at $25 per day. Once again trying to now run a Storage Business without a license.

I did notice that Richard Cordon III forgot to post the pictures of him restamping the VIN, since the car was in his possession only, the whole time the VIN was restamped, and he was the one that changed the VIN panel? Those pictures are probably on his trophy wall for later. Since Mrs. Cordon has stated that every thing has been completely documented, lets see that picture. So I thought Id include his email to me how he took it upon myself intentionally, about restamping the VIN, now that he had found all the special stamps to do it. Have some nice legal copies for anyone that wants them. Now does this show intent or what? You be the JUDGE.

Depending on what is needed on the Radiator support, I'll probably have the Apron back in, in a day or two.
Then we can move on.
And I finally got all of the custom stamps collected to re-stamp all of the VIN numbers back into the car.

(This doesnt say my car, just THE CAR so how many cars are we talking about here Mr. Cordon?)

As far as everything right now.
Demand is really up right now. Everyone wanting to get their new toys from Christmas painted...

How is everything over there?

Have a good one Dave.

Or did I take that out of context too? Just like the 2 emails prior to the contract signing stating no addition labor costs???

[quote]
All Listed above is what Richard is willing to do for the Listed sum.
If it is found that any item listed is not required then Dave will be informed but the listed sum will remain as stated.
[End Quote]

What I'm saying here is that everything in the list is not necessarily required. But I'm willing to Replace/Repair all of it at no additional charge.
So to simplify  if we have to replace just about everything on the vehicle but the Roof, I will do it for the listed Sum and there will
not be any additional charges.

This is mainly to protect you. Because when I go cutting into it, If I find any rusted out parts you don't have to worry about coming up with extra money to cover the extra labor costs.
And it also helps because if I run into something that needs to be fixed or repaired I can get right to it, Instead of having to give you a quote for the work and then waiting for a reply.

Not sure if all that makes much sense. It's hard to explain.
Basically you don't have to worry about any additional labor costs. The listed Sum is pretty much for everything that would possibly be wrong with the vehicle.
You are even covered on labor costs if you decide you want me to put modified Shock towers in it so you can throw a 557 stroker in it.
There really is not much that you could change to the plans at this time that would possibly raise the Labor Costs.
Well everything short of Replacing the Roof, And Caging the whole vehicle.

Like I said in my last email because its a "Set Labor Cost" it will not exceed the listed amount. Even if I have to put 1500-2000 hours in it, It won't exceed the listed amount.

But with what I know now about the mustang. I'm figuring Supplies for the Mustang should be around: $956.41.
Supplies cost with shipping and tax should be around: $1025.59
So I'm thinking your Total supplies costs (With Shipping and Tax) should be right around the $1000 Dollar range to strip the whole vehicle to bare metal and do the whole vehicle inside and out, Top to bottom.

Copies of all emails upon request VIA attorney

Unless the roof is removed or a full cage is put in it. Even if it has to be modified to put a 557 stroker in it. Sounds like FRAUD and MISREPRESENTATION to me. Stating one thing and then intentionally doing another. Trumped up charges yeah right.

For examples if I buy Locksmith tools but Im not a licensed locksmith does this mean Im going to rob someones house or car? Otherwise why did you buy them??? CRIMINAL INTENT TO KNOWINGLY BREAK THE LAW. Or maybe because I have 2 kilos of CRACK in my car, where is the INTENT to sell or distribute? You be the judge.

Mr. Cordon, and how many times did you tell me via emails and text messages that you have all the materials to finish the car??

Now if you look at the some other pictures posted on other websites that show Mr. Cordons 1965 Mustang, youll notice that the 1965 Mustangs right rear VIN fender apron has also been replaced, probably also without Utah state permission, and since he hadnt obtained the custom stamps until after Jan, 08, its probably wasnt stamped yet. This is 1 of 3 welded in factory VIN, ID panels that it is against Utah law to tamper with. Now on my 1966 Mustang, Mr. Cordon replaced, without my or the states permission, the left rear fender apron, that is 2 of 3 welded in panels and has a factory VIN ID stamped in it. Both 1 of 3 and 2 of 3 are hidden by the front fenders when they are installed, so any regular State or Police inspection of the under the hood VIN stampings, these are not visible. The third one on the left front apron is the only one visual for Law Enforcement or State licensing verification. You have to physically remove the fenders to see these 2 VIN stampings. So if the fenders are never removed, who knows or cares, right?

Now remember Mr. Cordon also removed the door VIN tag that he was intentionally keeping in his locked garage from my 1966 Mustang. The last visible piece required to make another 66 Mustang, the legal one you have a title and VINs for now.

So in conclusion, we cutout the old aprons factory legal VIN stamping from one car and then weld it in place or any other car where it is only visible for State DMV or Police vehicle inspection. Then taking the doors legal VIN tag and riveting it on this same vehicle. And by putting a lien against the title to obtain that also, and low and behold, we have a nice, new, shiny, legal 1966 Mustang for whatever purpose we want. You be the Judge. If you dont think this is possible go get the original 1974 movie, Gone in 60 Seconds by H.B. Halicki. Especially the first part that shows VIN changing and how to do it on a stolen car.

As long as this unlicensed, illegal Body Shop business is allowed to operate, dispose of HAZWASTE in anyway they want to and breaking the laws and then rubbing the Police and Weber County Courts nose in it. The next question is, what has been going on that we dont know about and who is the next victim???????

Now you know even more of the story.

Have a Nice Day!

More Proof of Perjury and Rip Off Business, Ratstang Restoration aka RSR

In that Richard Cordon III, did commit perjury in Small Claims Court on Oct. 20, 2009. He and his mother Sherry Cordon under oath claimed that they had been paid $400-$500 each for 3-4 tech articles that had been published.  As the owner of the Mustang used in these tech articles I informed Fordmuscle.com website admin that RSR no longer had my authorization to use any pictures or my car in anything on their website, and especially tech articles. This was due to breech of contract on RSRs part. RSR testified in court, under oath, that they had also, had a loss of $1500 income because now Fordmuscle would not publish any tech articles from RSR.

Proof that this was intentional perjury is that FordMuscle.com never does pay $400-$500 per tech article, when published. Even then it takes at least 6 to get any money and when paid, it will only be $100 per tech article.

http://www.fordmuscle.com/forums/what-tech-exchange/465959-what-tech-exchange.html

Next incident of perjury was when RSR testified that I was divorced, (as if it makes a difference) didnt have a job and had not paid his bill in 11 months.

  1. I was married Aug 19, 2006 the weekend after I dropped off the Mustang at RSRs business, and he wonders how I know so well when I dropped it off, and still married as of today.
  2. I was working in Pa. all the time and have W2s to prove it.
  3. Never was any bill sent to me by, email, telephone, text message, USPS, carrier pigeon, Pony Express or any other means of communication available. Nor was any additional expenses, except, that were running low on funds in an email in the spring of 2009.

No current mailing address

1.      A personal check was mailed to RSR in Apr, 09 with a legal USPS return current address in the upper left hand corner, as required by USPS regulations. A check Richard Cordon III, cashed prior to July 3rd, 2009.

2.      Several deliveries of parts from CJ Pony had been made directly to RSRs place of business in June and July 09. All clearly showing a current address in Pa. but Richard Cordon III and Sherry Cordon testified how they had not been updated with my current mailing address. Even when I had moved to Fillmore, Ut and they had known that, back in Aug 08 when I visited my car. RSR had to have some way of explaining why they had sent 3 registered letters to my old Hurricane, Ut address.

3.      Contract clearly stated that RSR was to inform me VIA email or phone call when the car was finished. This was never done until later in Aug, 2009, most likely finally finished by then. It would be embarrassing for them, to call me on July 5th tell me the car is finished to come pick it up and have me arrive a few hours later and the car not even painted yet. Especially since I was still in the local area a few hours away. Even up to a week later. Have receipts to prove that too. Even when I publicly on FM website requested proof it was done, I still received no response of any kind. In late July 09, RSR still refused to say a word about it being finished, especially provide any photographic proof and in fact never has. Since I have friends and family in Utah and RSR knows that, some right in Roy, Utah 10 minutes away, my wife Teresas son, who had even visited to drop off, parts once, (glove box doors). Picking up the car on a moments notice was never a problem.

Even in Small Claims Court Judge A. Smith ruled how the contract was AMBIGUOUS and as such pretty useless. No receipts have ever been produced even when requested by my lawyer from them and in court by the judge. Clearly they didnt think Id show up and was totally unprepared, even the judge said so to them. You should have seen them starting to HIGHLIGHT in yellow prior to the hearing outside the court room, documents and scramble to make notes. I loved the holding up of one finger by Sherry Cordon in court when asked to produce a document and say, just a minute your honor. Mrs. Cordon was still unable to produce the requested paper. But yet RSR states, everything is thoroughly documented? Even when requested by the judge for receipts RSR couldnt produce them. When the numbers where finally added up by Judge Smith, RSR didnt like the $6500 figure the judge came up with, and Judge Smith dismissed the remaining balance for slander for the rest of the $10,000 your honor. Judge Smith laughed at that one. Then in the only 5 minutes I was allowed by Judge Smith, getting close to by now, I easily proved perjury on several other points not including the ones stated above and the amount was quickly reduced down to $2245. By that time the judge just picked some numbers and gave a verdict. The Judge even stated how, neither one of you will probably like my verdict, but here it is. Dinner was waiting and it was . The cleaning crew even had to unlock the courthouse doors to let us out. Ever watch Judge Judy, well just think of 1 hr 20 mins of it, IN PERSON!

The really sad part about this whole thing is, if it had been finished on July 3rd, 2009 at 2PM when I arrived as scheduled, starting a month earlier scheduling it for pick up and after a fourth attempt to get a finish date, I would have probably paid the additional money that I felt was being extorted from me, just to get the car and parts back and away from this business as far and fast as possible. I started in April 2009 to try and get a finish date pinned and no extra costs were stated. It wasnt until more emails and phones, that I got their reply of instead of you harassing me, why dont I just finish the car, which didnt happen, even working a 90+ hour week on it as RSR stated. In early June I finally stated to RSR in emails, I was coming to get the car. Not until the last minute in June did any mention of the additional $1200 was said. Even though they had no authorization by myself in writing as per the ambiguous contract. After 1 hr of hearing BS about how they had done all this work and worked so hard, I had heard enough. I told RSR that, you refused the check here in front of the deputy who witnessed it, so Ill see you in court. Sherry Cordon even made the slanderous statement to the deputy that, hell just write a bad check, because he already said he would in an email. When the deputy wanted to see this email, Richard Cordon II was unable to find it. Because it never existed. Intentionally writing a bad check is a felony. I dont do felony acts; tampering with VIN tags and VIN restamping on body parts is a felony even by Utah law. This was even after Richard Cordon III went in and came out with a cardboard box with a few receipts in it, throwing it on the ground and kicking it over at myself in front of the deputy and witnesses, (real professional here) and then asked his mother, So what do I do with his car now? I have another Mustang I have scheduled to work on. Sherry Cordon said, Well just move it over and store it, even if we have to put it on jack stands. RSR even tried to DOUBLE CHARGE me another $240 to paint the car, after the July 3rd, 2009 pick up. Even though it was part of the contract and already been paid for to be painted. Oh well take that off then if you take the car now, unpainted.

The deputy suggested that we take pictures to record the current status of the car and remove any parts that we could. This was a very excellent idea. Since sitting right next to my 1966 Mustang Coupe, in the next garage stall, was RSRs 1965 Mustang Coupe still unfinished, needing to be painted, and needing more work and parts. Which it also had a factory VIN body panel changed by RSR on the right rear apron corner where the hood bolts to it. RSR picture. Poor quality picture, but good enough to see the evidence of being changed. 66 Mustang and 65 Mustang parts are the same. Especially the 8 powder coated $800 Currie rearend and $1300 Torque Thrust II rims and tires I had there. Along with a new 3 pt seatbelt systems that was never install as paid extra for, chrome trim pieces, disc brake front rotors, front and rear suspension parts and other misc body parts all that will fit a 65 Mustang Coupe.

You should have seen the look on Richard and Sherry Cordons face when the deputy suggested taking pictures to document the cars status? Kodak moment indeed. Then Sherry Cordon became attached at the hip to the photographer that was taking pictures.

So when it came time to pick my car up on Oct 27, 2009 at the scheduled time of , I took a deputy, along with another helper/witness with me again to verify the vehicle and protect me from RSR. It was obvious that the Mustang had just been moved over a few hours earlier. Have a nice picture of the few inches of snow from that night and was still trying to snow that morning. Shows the dry spot where it had been stored outside in the weather in front of the Ranger pickup, its called attention to detail... Even still had the little bit of snow from the storm on it and in my Mustang. PIs are expensive but well worth it. Should see the nice picture I have from early October when it was sitting outside, on the south side of the driveway by the white picket fence in the weather, with their Ranger pickup blocking it in. Along with their other 2 vehicles along side the Ranger pickup and the right side garage door open, showing the 68 Mustang coupe being worked on. Now thats what you call documentation.

     Questions still unanswered,

  1. RSR what did you do with all that HAZWASTE you produced from running an unlicensed body/paint Shop these years?
  2. How and why did your High School classmates give you the nickname RAT? Something you yourself posted on the internet for the source of the nickname RATSTANG.
  3. How did you, RSR, come up with a whole new total in Small Claims Court over the $1200 (minus the double charge of $240 since it wasnt even painted yet) you wanted on July 3rd, when you also stated on July 3rd, we have all the materials and paint and can have it finished on July 5th.  so you can come back in 2 days and pick it up a SUNDAY? And why didnt you tell Judge Smith that originally all you asked for was $1200 and the car would have been paid in full? Not too many stores open on that Friday July 3rd holiday about right then to buy paint and more materials from. $1300 in paint, that Sherry Cordon testified that she put on her credit card, along with additional labor charges of 270 hrs of labor=$1890, that Judge Smith halved and awarded them only $945 for a total of $2245 + the $185 in court costs. Seems strange that you went from $1200 to take the car and be PAID IN FULL on July 3rd, 2009 to over $3190 + another $1500 for tech articles and + another $200 for my car parts you paid to have removed instead of returning to me, on Oct. 20, 2009. Along with some other Utah creative math numbers. When you had all the materials and labor was completed, to be able to pick up the car up in 2 days on July 5th a SUNDAY???
  4. How did you ever use 2.4 miles of welding wire, and 2 gals of Bondo on my 85% Taiwanese car as you stated? Lets do some math here, not Utah math if you dont mind, 2.4miles= 12,672ft. Now if theres 1200ft per roll (appx) and a roll weighs 50lbs (appx), that means you put an additional 525 lbs (rough numbers here) of weight on my 66 Mustang that weighs in from the factory, complete at 2850 (appx). Now if a roll is only 1000 and weighs 70#s that = 882#s.  So now it will weigh 3375-3732#s because of your workmanship that used brand new, 85% Taiwanese body parts supplied to you by CJ Pony, Mustangs Unlimited, and Laurel Mountain Mustang, to name a few. Maybe I better start thinking about that 460 going in it after all.
  5. Last but not least, what was your REAL reason for removing the door VIN tag, (and VIN tag replacement Rivets dont cost $25 for 2 rivets as you stated) and keeping it locked up inside your garage. Even licensed Utah body shops dont remove VIN tags due to Utah Law, Title 41. You also replaced a body apron panel that I DID NOT buy, supply, authorize or even want to have replaced. That panel was a factory VIN stamped body panel that had such a minor rust hole in it that the 2 gals of bondo and 2.4 miles of welding wire would have easily fixed it. Then hiding it under your blue tarp along with the other parts that belonged to me that you had to be ordered to return. You should have seen the deputy on Oct 27, 2009, writing notes and writing all the information he had witnessed concerning VIN tampering.

Explain that because MANY inquiring minds really want to know.
