Don't do business with Showcars-bodyparts.com !!! First ,the process I am discribing has taken over 4 months. Second, the company only accepts checks. Dont give them any of your money!!!!!They are located in Canada , so it takes even longer. They told me I would get my hood the week after they received my money.I paid $530.00 for a fiberglass hood for my 73 Vega. That included shipping. When I received the hood, 4 weeks after they received/cashed my check, I realized thatthey had done apoor job on the hood. It didn't fit AT ALL. There were cracks in the gel coat all the way down on both sides and we needed to shorten the hood by about 4 inches to even see if it worth trying to fit.

I contacted Showcars and Rob told me, after I explained the problems, he would make me a new hood, fit it at the shop and ship it to me. I thought Great! It's now been over 2 months since he promissed me that and after leaving 15+ messages and talking to him at least 10 times, I still don't have a working hood. What he keeps telling me is that the mold is at another site and he's going to get it back next week and make the hood and send it to me. I have no recourse since he has my money and I couldn't use a credit card. I just cant believe he can lie to someone over and over again and still sleep at night.
