This is a sample of what other people are saying about this school...
by not happy 11/23/2010
i went to Everest my instructor was awesome!! However, even tho graded in Sept with honors, perfect attendance, and student ambassodor, I have not found a job, and have had little help from the school, as they promise you, and yes ive done my part, over 100 apps out. Im very disappointed in this school and hope I find a job before I have to pay it all back. Very discouraged...
ANGRY !!! - 12/10/10
I graduated from Everest 1 year ago ( trained in medical assisting ) and even though my instructor was great, I do not recommend this school, I have not found a job yet, and have had very little help from the school, they promise that by going to their school you will be able to get a good job in the field you went to school for and have trained you in, I did my part, I have put out over 200 resumes. I have close to 20,000 in student loans I cannot pay back because I don't have that decent job with good pay that everest promisses you, I wish I had never gone to everest. SINCERELY YOURS, ANGRY !!!
everest admissions - 03/15/11
I'm sorry that you've experienced such a bad experience with Everest. I would just like to point out that I currently work in the admissions department and we do not and cannot PROMISE or make any guarantees on employment. It's unethical and against our best practices. I'm glad you were being proactive and getting your resume out but did you also try the old fashion way and "beat the pavement"? I would highly recommend taking advantage of career services because there's a job board that broken down by program with updated jobs at least every week. Plus, I would recommend these sites if you didn't do so already: (((links redacted))) just to get you started. I don't mean any disrespect and only want to help. I can only speak for ME and only ME, when I say I do this because I'm truly vested into helping people. I would recommend stopping by the campus tomorrow, if you can! Take care.
Well, this is what I have to say...
Everest is a joke because I recently talked to a representative at the Norcross campus. She kept putting me off to someone else and when I decided not to go back after ONE day of class (Medical Assistant) she told me it was better if I stay and finish because if I go to a regular college or tech school a Bachelor degree in Biology or even an Associate wouldn't get me anywhere...ok...like a diploma from the SCAM SCHOOL would get me anywhere? Anyway 17,000 is way too much to pay for 8 months of Medical Assistance class and I found a school where the student pay only 5 to 6 thousand for 6 months and 1 month of externship!! So of course I'm going over to the other school and yes the school is accredited because I took my nursing assistant state exam over there and the classes are much smaller. After I finish my medical assisting class I will go to a regular college to get my degree...So hello new school and goodbye SCAM SCHOOL!!
P.S. the representative going to sit there and say that she thinks I'm confused because I want to go for my Bachelor degree.

Texas School Fraud Attorney
The Law Office of Julie Johnson is currently handling cases against Everest College. They have campuses throughout the United States. We represent a number of students who enrolled in Everest College's Medical Assisting and Medical Coding programs.
The dream of obtaining an education and good training that could allow you to go forth and get a well paying job so that you don't have to settle for a minimum wage job is something that we all have. Unfortunately, schools often misrepresent facts concerning potential jobs, starting salaries and the schools own placement services offered to graduating students. Proprietary schools often misrepresent their accreditation status. Students spend their time and money on programs that they discover will not even transfer over to other schools.
School admissions representatives are sometimes nothing more than cheap sales representatives who make huge commissions on each person they get signed up and whom apply for student loans. Enrolling a large number or students and obtaining federal funds is the proprietary schools main goal and many students are stuck with student loans that they cannot pay.
