Green Care Global BURNS POWER WASHING scam, deal finder scam, no show, rude, fake lawn care, fake window washing Vancouver, British Columbia

My lawn has been a disaster this year. So my wife found a deal online through onespout that connected us to buytopia for lawn care. It was under Green Care Global, http://greencareglobal.webstarts.com/index.html, and they claimed they would do EVERYTHING for only $39. This seemed realistic because we have purchased many discount coupons off these sites for cheap and it has always worked for us, so there was no reason to go in with the "it's too good to be true" attitude.

We scheduled the appoinment 3 weeks in advance, and they were suppose to show up at 10am. You guessed it, THEY DIDN'T. My wife who was home with our newborn baby, was stuck in the house waiting for these jack asses all day. I called the number for them, which I will reiterate 250-301-2789 (google it, you'll see them on many dealfinders), the guy answered the phone and said that his guys were running late and that he'd call me back.

He never called me back. So my wife emailed them and again no response. So the day of the appointment came and went.

The next day she received a reply to her email from a girl named "Shelly". Shelly advised that one of the workers were a no show and that is why this happened. She asked to reschedule.

I get it, things like that happen, and so we understood. So we emailed her back and said, sure no prob come Friday instead (that was one of the choices she gave us). Shelly never replied. We sent 3 follow up emails. No response. We called and called and called, and it went to voicemail and no messages were returned. We could even tell the person on the other end of that cell phone hit the ignore button because it would ring and stop. That is just speculation, but I'm quite sure it's accurate.

Finally the last email my wife sent, before we got a response was, that we will publicize their horrible service online. That prompted Shelly to respond. The following is the email correspondance between my wife and Shelly (from begin to end):

Anyways that brings us to today. It is 1:15 in the afternoon and the appoinment was at 10am and they are a no show. I found other complaints about Global Lawn Care & their AKA Burns Power Washing. They have done this exact same thing to a number of other people. We contacted Buytopia and they have graciously agreed to refund our 40 bucks, with hardly any questions ask, which is nice. And yes I know it is just $40, but it's the principle of the matter, and people with this kind of business practice need to be taken down quick.

If it wasn't for the middle man (buytopia) we would have never of received our money back. And I hope people don't deal with them directly, because they will screw those people out of their hard earned money. But what I think it is, is that they are more so scamming the deal finder companies. But that is just speculation.

In closing, all I have to say is.... STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!! They are theives, rude and ignorant. If they are a true company they have no customer service skills and no accountability for the services they CLAIM to offer. If they are a true company, they take no responsibility for their own shortfalls, (I guess that is hard considering all they have is shortfalls). Shelly, if that is a real person, is a dispicable B**** and a sorry excuse for a human being, let alone a business person.
