Bears Bass Guide service Pulled the old bait and switch Kissimmee, , Florida

Called the Bear to set up a two boat guide on stick marsh farm 13 in florida that is a public lake, he took my deposit and on we went. Day of the trip we meet his guides and go fishing for the day. Everything is fine all day, guides are great. End of the day the main guide tells me the final total of the trip, I say that can't be right the total should be this? He then tells me that the stick marsh is the cost of a private lake, I say what, the stick marsh is a public lake and everybody now it. Nobody told me that I would be getting charged as a private lake.

So I say wait a minute I'm calling the Bear, Talk to Bears wife and she tells me that the deposit was $200.00 (and it was) and a $200.00 deposit is for a private lake. She tells me this like I should know this. I say no where does it say how the deposit is broke down, I called the Bear set up the trip, ask him how much deposit do I need and he tells me $200.00, I give him $200.00. I say no big deal I'll work this out with the Bear (it's not the guides fault) I pay the guides. After a few weeks of trying to get a hold of the Bear with no luck and no call backs I leave a message that I'm calling my credit card company, I get a call back in 5 minutes.

I hope we can talk like adults and work this out, The Bear starts screaming at me and calling me every name in the book and will not let me talk, I try to be calm but it gets the best of me and I start screaming at him and using the same word as he's using, He hangs up on me and that was that. I try and work with the credit card company to get the difference between the private and public lake cost but they tell me I'm SOL.  so for now on when I take a trip like this I ask the guide before we go on the water what the final cost is going to be at the end of the day. I should say this happen a few years ago.
