Dan Harkey, husband of Assemblywoman Diane Harkey declared bankruptcy of his $400,000,000 trust deed company,Point Center Financial on the eve of his fraud trial.
He was found guilty of Financial Elder Abuse, ignored the jury award of $14,000,00 to the plaintiffs, declared bankruptcy again and started an identical company, Cal Comm.
Assemblywoman Harkey is backed in her bid for Board of Equalizatin by local supervisors, sheriffs and DAs.
There is no reimbursement to the elderly and disabled plaintiffs at any forseeable time.
