This is about an online store (at www.prestigetradeonline.com) that my husband wanted to have to generate some extra income at home. Unfortunately, the website builder and host which happened to be E-Commerce Exchange,  not only didnt provide all the brand name merchandises as promised, but worse, one of its senior consultant named Thomas Bormann had furtively withdrawn amount of monies from our bank account without any authorization.
We had several discussions with Mr. Bormann who worked hard to convince us to purchase an online store from E-Commerce Exchange for $3600 payable in 36 installments of $99 every month. A down payment of $195 was required at the signature of the contract.
The package included the hosting, advertisement, and training.
On September 20th, 2011 Mr. Bormann faxed a contract, and went over the phone to explain all the details including the different payment plans available, the IRS tax form, social security number and a void check that needed to be faxed back along with the signed contract.
Everything seemed normal, because at least we had a contract and a contact person in case things didnt turn as expected.
That was just the visible face of the Iceberg. Above all things, Mr. Thomas Bormanns sole interest was the bank account information. On September 21st, as soon as he received the void check and debit card info he took shamelessly $790 from the account. The website was delivered only after five days with a SMC (Specialty Merchandise Corporation) store which, by the way, is free. We were very disappointed because of all the talks and all the fallacious promises.
With no scruple, Mr. Bormann called me two days later, On September 28th to try to convince me about the urgency to have social network account like Tweeter, Facebook, and my space linked to the store in order to enhance traffic.  This would cost $499 that very promotional day he told us, and the price will jump up to $700 next week. My husband and I both declined the offer. As I said to him, as far as I know tweeter, Facebook, and my space were free.
Despite the opposition, once again, he just went straight and debited $499 from the account that same day.
So far nothing was noticed, because this is a bank account we dont use for daily expenses, it has always been used for mortgage payment, repair, and high utility bills.
As a matter of fact, on October 4th, when we made a mortgage payment, the money fell short. When we checked the account online, the sad truth was that same day Mr. Bormann, who had found cow cash, made another fraudulous transaction of $894 that was still pending.
My husband called right away Chase bank to stop the payment or to put it on hold until its proven. Our great disappointment was when the bank refused to do anything, but sent us back to the merchant to solve the problem.
On October 5th the $894 was gone.
When contacted E-Commerce Exchange had proposed to refund only $894.
In what kind of world are we? Why Chase bank let this happened? Why any sanction has been taken against this crook?
There was no recorded voice or a written agreement that would allow Thomas Bormann to use our bank account as his.
We do not want a partial refund. You bring back the full amount you had stolen and from there we will see if we forgive you or press criminal charges.

Great News! We have resolved our challenge with E-Commerce Exchange!

AUTHOR: Mame - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 08, 2011

We are happy to report that we have worked out misunderstandings our with E-Commerce Exchange.

Challenges can happen with any company, it's how they are handled that counts and we are happy to be moving ahead with E-Commerce Exchange on this venture and for their quick resolution to our misunderstanding and challenge.

We would voluntarily recommend E-Commerce Exchange to everybody we know because, not only is it a reliable company which puts the clients' needs first, but a group  of consultants who will work tirelessly to solve any problem that may occur and provide you with all the tools you need to run a successful business.

We would like to mention solemnly that the consultant, Thomas Bormann, that we didn't really know in depth at that time, is a gentleman, a very respectful person, and an indulgent workaholic who will try his very best to make your business flourish. As we had mentioned earlier what happened was just an isolated misunderstanding that both parties deeply regret and have already put behind us.

Thank you once again to everyone at E-Commerce Exchange!
