I nearly fell victim to the Global Pro Systems/Vemma pyramid scam.

After I gave my debit information  for shipping and handling costs for my "FREE" information pack, I received the flimsy, mildew scented brochure and dvd. No information regarding the "business" was included.

I immediately regretted my consideration of this "home business", but I politely took a scheduled call that quickly revealed exactly what I had suspected.  Pyramid SCAM.

$299.00 start up, with recurring monthly costs.

After politely requesting cancellation, the conversation turned terse and uptight. The sales lady declared all those withdrawn or dissatisfied  from the GPA/Vemma "business" as lazy and incompetent talking over me in a condescending tone. I was also threatened with unauthorized debit withdrawals for not returning the "FREE" info pack in the requested  time and manner.

I was forced to hang up on the rant, and I quickly made contact with the bank to protect my vulnerable account.

It is made clear in the information pack that this money getting "opportunity" is directed towards "babyboomers".

If you are in this age group, you should be aware of such wolves in sheeps clothing.

Can I get the Phone Number so I can get my Money Back!!!

AUTHOR: czi - ()

POSTED: Thursday, October 17, 2013

I knew about the Ripoff site and failed to do a background check on GPS first. I had ordered my Fedex package and it did not come the next day. I still don't have it, but I am charged for the overnight package. I keep getting automated emails from my "Mentor" saying they have tried to call me, but I never received a call.

In fact, I've tried calling them several times and left messages and yet to have a return call. I also never received a confirmation email of my purchase for my package. How would I keep track of it or even know if it's been sent. As soon as I confirmed my payment it went directly to a welcome video saying that my mentor will be giving me a call and to read the package in its entirely once I get it.

Package was never received and mentor has never called. I can't find a decent site to find a phone number to cancel everything. Even though I hadn't received the package they may start trying to charge me the $39.95 assuming that I received it.

I don't want to have to change my back account. Can you please, or someone please tell me the number or site I can go to cancel everything. Im the sure that information is on the package I had never received.
