Purchased a 2006 Volvo V70 from Izak Ginsburg, February 2009.  I was told that the car was in perfect running condition with no mechanical problems and no defects in the paint.

After receiving the car I found that the brakes and rotors were bad and needed to be replaced.  The rotors had cracks in them and were worped.  Also, the tires were worn and not safe to use, right rear wheel bearing was making noise and had to be replaced.  The paint on the front bumper was spider webbed and one coil pack in the engine was bad from when they pressure washed the engine and got it wet.  There was water in the top of the engine where the coil packs are.

It cost me over $1700.00 to repair the car and make it drivable. When I contacted Izak Ginsburg, he did not reply to me and did nothing.

They also doctor the pictures that they put on EBay to remove defects in the paint.

What is eating you now Robert?

AUTHOR: Ronny g - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, November 01, 2010

I was just trying to be polite, unlike you.

I could have simply stated what I believe is the truth here...that the report is at least partially full of crap.

There is no reason for me to give out any personal or business information on this website. I am not the one lodging complaints that contain false information..or where important information is left out.

If someone claims they we defrauded in an eBay transaction on a report here, would it not make sense that ANYONE who uses eBay, buyers or seller should at least know the ebay sellers user name? Maybe the seller is being falsely accused..or maybe the poster did not actually buy this vehicle on ebay?

Or maybe the seller is bad..we should know this info as well. The poster lists the sellers personal name, and business name, claims he is removing defects of the paint in pictures on ebay..yet the business does not exist on eBay under that name?

What is your problem with me Robert? Did you violate an eBay rule and have something against them? What lawsuits are you talking about? If they did anything wrong that caused them to lose any lawsuits then I would say that is a good thing for the consumers...and possibly me as a seller on ebay. I am just unaware of them because I am not involved with the lawsuits, I was not notified of any lawsuits, and I have not had any problems with eBay that caused me to be ripped off in any way shape or form. Granted their customer service sucks..but that is because like 99% of the businesses these days..that outsource customer service to India where no one gives a crap about us.

But, the site allows me to conduct business world wide and a very fair price, get instant payment.... and allows the buyers to see I have a 100% positive feedback score. I am grateful for eBAy and yes..it is in my best interests that they are not wrongly implicated in scams.

It just seems eBay and PayPal are occasionally getting blamed on this site and it ends up the complaints are unfounded..and nothing but a disgruntled buyer or seller that can't admit they lost out because they took a stupid risk and/or have no idea how to buy and sell online.

Do you have any other questions?

What's in a name?

What is this sellers ebay username? You should let others know if you lodge a report on an ebay seller what the sellers user name is.

Why don't you post YOUR ebay seller's name Rozzy?  After all, then we could check YOUR ebay rating, as well as verify your businesses!

Since you're always defending Ebay, despite the lawsuits against them and pay pal I think it appropriate that folks here KNOW EXACTLY what type of Ebay "businesses" you're running!

What is the sellers ebay user name?

Yes you used poor judgment if you purchased a car online site unseen. That should be left to pro buyer/sellers only.

However, ebay does not take lightly any false advertising or misrepresentation. I am curious to check on this sellers ebay site to see what the ratings and feedback from others buyers are. Can't find any seller "Jet Motorsports Inc" on ebay. What is this sellers ebay username? You should let others know if you lodge a report on an ebay seller what the sellers user name is.

Anybody Home Upstairs?

COMMON SENSE dictates when you buy a USED CAR, you check out the car in person, drive it, have your mechanic check it out and then with input from your mechanic, you offer what you consider is a price you want to pay.

Buying a used car SIGHT UNSEEN over the internet is about as STUPID as putting on a blindfold, walking into the street and then blaming the car which slams you to the pavement.

Should they have properly represented this car?  Of course.  But a buyer should exercize COMMON SENSE.

And now, you don't even have a clue, do you as you blame this dealership when you could have avoided this altogether buy using COMMON SENSE!

Stay away from this company?  Of course.  But use COMMON SENSE IN THE FIRST PLACE!
