This particular client was late for every single date coaching appointment that was scheduled. She told me that that multiple matchmakers and date coaches would not work with her because she admittedly suffers from bipolar disorder. I decided to take her on as a client because I believe that everyone deserves to find love, and I sympathized with her.

I agree that I did cancel and ask to reschedule 2 out of the 5 coaching sessions due to a last-minute media opportunity and a family emergency.  As mentioned, I gave multiple options to reschedule out meetings and added an extra complimentary session.

Our relationship ended when she was late for the 4^th time. Her excuse was that she had to finish eating the dinner that she made at her apartment while I waited 30 minutes into a 60-minute appointment. She finally strolled in while I was leaving and became enraged when I told her I was not going to begin the session. I told her that this session wouldn’t count and we would reschedule. That was still not good enough for her. I walked out the door and she chased me down the street screaming obscenities.

At this point, I think anyone would agree that her service should be terminated. 

I can’t express the sadness and disappointment I experienced after reading this particular review. I have given countless hours of time, energy and the utmost concern to help women feel confident, empowered and fulfilled through the books that I’ve written, the seminars I have given and the services I have provided. The length that I had gone for this particular client in order to build her self-confidence and a feeling of renewed hope in love was above and beyond what any matchmaker would do. From the beginning of this process, I put my best effort forth and attempted to make her feel good about herself and instill confidence in her.

Before she paid me a cent, I spent hours on the phone and in person explaining the matchmaking process. I was then asked to speak to her father (who would be paying) and re-explain the process over multiple hours. After numerous explanations and multiple reassurances, he agreed to pay for her matchmaking services.

In order to observe how she interacted with men and to ascertain the type of men she would be interested in meeting, our first appointment took place in a restaurant/bar by her office. She proceeded to get wildly intoxicated  (at my expense) and make completely inappropriate sexual advances towards me. It began with her insisting on demonstrating what an Eskimo kiss was (which is when 2 people who most likely are romantically involved rub the tips of their noses together). What I found even more off-putting is that her father taught her this gesture. For the remainder of her session, I dodged multiple sexual advances, culminating with me attempting to put her in a livery car while she grabbed my belt to pull me in with her.  I gently shut the door and gave the driver $80 in cash to ensure that she got home safely to her apartment all the way back to Hoboken.

There was never an apology. There were only hostile responses in regard to every man I tried to set her up with after that. The next correspondence was a refund request, which was unwarranted. This is without a doubt one of the most unpleasant experiences I have had with any woman I worked with.
