NACR associates itself with a drug church, Mercy Street, which repeatedly broke the law in 2007 and 2008, of the admission of an internal investigation by Harris County, one which was later covered, up.   In 2007, the heroin addicted daughter of the man who ran the rehab at the church while himself a drug addict at the SAME time, went on a year long crime spree, ruining several people's lives.  None of these victims ever saw any justice.  One young man who tried to help this girl was left living with his parents again.  Another, who was made the unknowing accomplice, a getaway car, in one of her thefts, nearly lost his job when the victim of the theft showed up at his professional workplace.  I attempted to help the girl by taking her in and paying for her rehab - she stole $10k in items from me, and stole my car and drove it through my condo parking gate.

At the trial, the court system admitted the head of the drug court in Harris County went into the courtroom to get her a deal.  Matt Russell, the drug priest, threw one of the crime victims mentioned above out of a courtroom.  The girl was put in a rehab the Judge never used, which just so happens to be run by friends of Drug Priest Matt Russell.  After admitting wrongdoing, the court's own lawyer told us they would "reassess the entire drug court model" and take actions against Mercy Street Church and all other churches associated with our drug court.   No actions have ever been taken, other than a coverup of the investigation and the naming of an ex-alcoholic judge, Bill Burke, from Mercy Street Drug Church to be our new druggie court judge no more than 2 months after the investigation!! Not a single victim has been repaid a penny.  The civil case against the defendant to recover damages was in front of another judge from Chapelwood / Mercy Street Drug Church.

Board members of this organization Matt Russell and Gregg Taylor are the founder and current preacher, respectively, of this Mercy Street Drug Church.
