Buyer beware!! If you are talked into buying these product, for goodness sakes, use cash!! During a recent vacation at the Venetian in Las Vegas Nevada I was grabbed by this "band of gypsies". I was slathered and sold nealy to death! "No thank you very much!" Does not work! As I was politely trying to leave, was told they would throw in a few other products in for free if i bought one. Fine, I thought, $100 seemed easier than the time consuming scene I was about to make to get the heck out of that store,(called Natur by the way)!!
The following night I reviewed my credit card purchases for that particular day. (Just over 24 hrs later) They charged my account over $400! In addition to the charge, the next morning I noticed a slight rash on the half of my face that was demonstrated on by the salesperson. I read the boxes & opened a jar of cream. The sent immediately answered my sensitivity questions. Being in a casino environment, there are so many different smells. At the time I did not notice how strong the fragrance is in this product! I am very sensitive to fragrance and I believe that anything that is "natural ", as they claim this to be, should not smell like a broken box of cheap perfume!
I went back to that store to return the untouched products first thing the next morning. I was told there are NO REFUNDS!! I explained to them that I was told I was getting the products for a hundred dollars NOT four hundred dollars! I take responsibility for agreeing to make the initial purchase. The heavy accent & my attempt to get out of there may be the cause for the confusion and my absent attention to detail. However, any reputable cosmetic company will exchange or refund the cost of their products especially within 48 hours. In most cases, a refund is granted long after that time frame. I also pointed out my skin sensitivity. They do not care! They claim they do not have the capability to "refund any cash/credit card transaction programmed into their computer" whatsoever!! The Kicker..while i was there they tried to sell me an even more expensive product!! Are you kidding me?!! I repeat, they Do Not Care!!
I went straight to the concierge of the Venetian/Palazzo Hotels. It was explained to me that they are an independent business that pays rent therefore the hotel cannot be held responsible. I DO NOT hold the hotel responsible at all. They were wonderful, kind & Sympathetic. I clearly sensed their frustration regarding this issue. Obviously it was NOT first time they have had people complain about this situation. I was informed many complain, on nearly a daily basis but, General Growth property management company are the ones who have the authority to to take formal action.
It is very odd that there are not more complaints on the Internet regarding Natur or Vine Vino. I only located one in San Antonio and the situation was very similar to mine. It's obvious they have somebody cleaning the web of any REAL reviews.
I have a sent copy of this to the Better Business Bureau who has them rated 'F'!
It seems like such a shame that, from now on, I will need to carry my iPad with me wherever I go before I make any kind of purchase.
I intend to notify as many consumer report agencies as I can.
Followed by a phone call, a copy has of this complaint has gone to General Growth Property Management. The space at the Palazzo Shoppes is leased by them to these unethical shysters, store name NATUR. I am hoping that this post may help other consumers find their way to resolve. Hopefully other victims will notify this property management company so they can document these complaints and shut these people down.
Of course, I am contacting American Express to see what I can do about the fraudulent charges on my account!! I'm curious to see if that will lead me to the Las Vegas Police Department as well!
If Any sales person in a mall, especially a high end mall like this, tries to pull you into their store run don't walk! It would be a shame to have others Fraudulently charged & stuck with this stinky junk!!
I'm open to advice, this is my first time having such a hideous experience.
