I identified a 2003 Saab 9-3 sedan on ebay for sale by Ultimate Motorsports, Inc. from Houston, Texas. I called their telephone & spoke with Joe Jehanzeb who described the car as excellent condition & referenced CarFax report which showed no accidents or hail damage with mileage of 49,915 miles. I asked condition of tires and Joe said "like new, probably 90% tread remaining. We agreed on price. I sent a $500 down payment via PayPal and subsequently completed paperwork and sent a Cashier's Check for $5,653.33 and arranged for shipment of the vehicle from Houston to Leawood, KS. When the car arrived the driver presented a Bill of Lading that showed hail damage on the hood, roof and trunk. Also, the front tires were BALD, no tread remaining and neither headlight worked. I called Ultimate Motors & spoke with Kelly telling her the car was unacceptable. She spoke with "Manager" who said "the car has been titled to you so the car is yours". She said if we refused to accept delivery the transport company would charge us vehicle storage fees but they would not accept the car back nor give me my money back. I had no choice but to let the driver unload the vehicle so I could fight this out legally with the seller. After looking the vehicle over it was discovered that beyond the hail damage, the entire vehicle has been repainted and very poorly so. When it rained water came into the I called Joe Jehanzeb and he did not return my calls. I sent email which he responded by saying he wasn't aware the car had hail damage. He offered $300 discount. The Bill of Lading was signed by Dave Anderson with Ultimate knowing the car had hail damage.

More Ultimate Fraud!

I had exactly the same experience with Omar and Joe at Ultimate MS. I bought a car that I bid on Ebay and it was declined. I then received an email from Joe informing me I had won, but would be out of Ebay (so they can avoid Ebay costs). I completed the sale and Omar engaged in Wire Fraud by accepting my funds for an inferior vehicle not as stated on Ebay which I have already reported to the Texas Attorney General's office. I tried to work something out with him to get the vehicle up to safety standards (Ultimate got the car through Texas vehicle inspection with major issues that would have prevented a normal consumer from passing FRAUD). Omar never spoke with me again once the sale was over and forced his poor receptionist (a very nice person) to act as the intermediary. Omar knew I was in the military and had no compunction with defrauding a service member. These people are unscrupulous and should be avoided at all cost. I have now spent over $1500 on getting this vehicle up safety standards. Oh, they even lied about it being a non-smoking Texas vehicle as it smelled like an ash tray and the CARFAX stated it was from out of state! They offered me $300 to shut up and go away also. They should change their name to "Ultimate Fraud"!

Not sure why Jim doesn't want to blame the crooked car dealer more than the "stupid" purchaser. If you look at other complaints about Ultimate Motorsports on RipOffReport, you will see they are running a scam using ebay motors. I have purchased 7 vehicles over the years via ebay and this is the first unscrupulous seller that fraudulently misrepresented the vehicle on ebay.
Ultimate Sports maintains their 100% ebay rating with 401 transactions by completing the transactions for vehicles that are accurately represented through the ebay listing. For vehicles such as this purchase, which was intentionally fraudulent by not disclosing significant hail damage, they did not run the transaction through ebay. So I had no recourse through ebay motors.
Yes, I was stupid to not catch their trick at the end of the processs, but that is their scam. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I won't let it happen again and will do everything possible with the Attorney General for the State of Texas and ebay to shut them down.
Sorry this fraud victim pissed Jim off more than the crooks. Jim must have a perfect record by never being ripped off in his entire life. I'm not so perfect but I am unrelenting.

How Do You Spell "STUPID"?
AUTHOR: Jim - ()
SUBMITTED: Monday, July 08, 2013
Anybody who has been alive for longer than five minutes has heard numerous horror stories of people who have purchased used cars at the LOCAL level and ended up with a piece of junk. So what highly intelligent thing do you do? You send your money off to somebody you don't know to buy some used car you've never seen, never test driven and never had your own mechanic check over! Next time, if at all possible, use a thimble full of COMMON SENSE and DO NOT do something as STUPID as this again! If you cannot, or will not take that advice then I suggest you do two things...get yourself a keeper and have that keeper immediately take you for a professional evaluation, deep counseling and appropriate medication.
