This was in email sent to me: I wish to inform you that your resume has been reviewed by our company (Arcevia service Company)and you have been selected for an online job briefing and interview...Hence it will be required of you to set up a yahoo account and instant message the hiring manager, Mrs Pamela Feast on (mrspamela.interviewdesk@yahoo.com) for your job briefing and interview, TIME:8am to 4pm.
I went through the interview process and did ask lot of questions. I look up to see if this company is scam or not and couldnt find anything that saying it was. In order to start work you have to purchase the software that is the MYOB accounting software 2010 for $266 and the company will reburse you on your 1st check. I DID NOT send any money. Then few weeks she instant message me stating that had another job and send me check for $1435.00 that need to cash it and send western union and to keep $100. I DID NOT cash it due it sounded like a scam and I instant message Mrs Pamela Feast that the bank refuse to cash it and it wasnt a real check and told me that company stop it due took me to long to cash it. She tells me that have another job and it involves receiving western union and send another western union to Niagara. I refuse that job and told her that wont do anything to do with western union.
THIS COMPANY IS HUGE SCAM. DON"T GIVE ANY MONEY OR DO THEIR JOBS. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

I am the owner of Arcevia Services. This business exists in the UK only but is open to international clients. No work-from-home jobs have ever been offered, in the UK or USA or any other part of the world, nor will they be in the future. There are no branches in the USA and there are no plans to open any now or in the future.
I do not know anyone called 'Mrs Pamela Feast'. All emails sent via Arcevia Services always end with arcevia.com.
This scam has affected the reputation of Arcevia Services so I feel I am a victim of this scam, too. The people behind this scam used the Arcevia Services name and the website to rip people off, to make it seemd genuine, and I am sorry for those who ended up becoming victims of it. There are genuine testimonials on the website to show that Arcevia Services is a legitimate business.
It seems that the victims were all in the USA. I was contacted by some of them asking for more information. They were informed by me that there were no work-from-home jobs. I obtained details from them about where/how they were approached. There were listings in craigslist, which I immediately reported to be taken down. Soon after, the scam seemed to have ended.
The website does now state that no work-from-home jobs are offered. At the time of the scam, it said that there were no vacancies. Such job offers should always be avoided as they are almost always too good to be true. You shouldn't have to pay to work.
If anyone comes across one of these fake job offers in the future, please contact me and I will try to sort it out.
