Goodman sold me equipment that was 10 years old that he had refurbished and stripped all the logo and serial numbers off of. I found out when I called the manufacturing company because the equipment would not function. They told me the machine was over ten years old.

I sued Goodman but his house is in a trust and he has no assets. He is a liar and a thief and you need to stay clear.

Keeping It Honest

AUTHOR: ALLAN GOODMAN - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 30, 2011

On about October 2004 Mr. Lance Herndon contacted our company to purchase equipment from our company, Business Mailing Systems.

Mr. Herndon asks for an opportunity to demo the equipment prior to purchase, which our company was happy to do so. Mr. Herndon was impressed with the new, used equipment, so much his company Mortgage Lending Inc a Montana Corporation, Lance Herndon signed the Purchased Agreement on the following equipment:

Mortgage Lending Inc a Montana Corporation, Lance Herndon purchased the following equipment;

1)  New Kyocera Laser Printer Model 9520 with all options one can get for laser printer.

2) Reconditioned Secap Model W790 inkjet Printer for addressing

3) New Datatech Model 3200 inserter

4) New Formax Model FD1500 auto sealer folder

5) New Strapping Machine

6) New Postalsoft Software for Mail Management

7) On-site service agreement

In regards to purchasing new equipment he had the opportunity to buy a new Printer an decided to buy a reconditioned Secap w790/13klc printer because a new was $15,995.00 retail and decided to save over $7,000.00 because we would warranty the printer like a new one.

It is impossible to know the age of a printer if the serial no was no longer on the printer and in all my years of selling equipment I have never removed a serial number from a piece of equipment.

During the course of the first year, Mr. Herndon and his employees received training on software, equipment use and care training onsite.

Mr. Herndon made five (5) tech support calls and addressed all tech support issues. Our last tech support call for Mr. Herndon Kyocera printer was on about June 2005.

Our last contact with Mr. Herndon was about July 2005, Mr. Herndon order supplies from our company. If Mr. Herndon would have return the printer to our office and if we could not repair the printer we would have replaced it at no charge to Mr. Herndon.

On about November 2006 Mr. Herndon filed in Superior Court Case No. CV2005-053240.

The case was dismissed in June 2008 in our company favor probably due to the fact and Mr. Herndon did not have a case?

If I bought a use car, drove it off the lot and used the car for over 10 months, can we just return it because I dont like it anymore? I dont think so.

Mr. Herndon was a happy customer for months, but something happen with his company to want to return his used car.

We have been in business for over 24 years. We sell and New and Used Mailing Equipment, software, supplies, and on site service, for any budget.
