Alan Nathan and his company Absolute Nutrition out of Bloomfield CT sold my chain of health clubs in Chicago fake and false weight loss supplements. Alan Nathan is selling watered down vitamins and goods and needs to have no one do business with Absolute Nutrition.

My gym members have all complained about these phony weighloss supplements.

Absolute Nutrition should not be in business. Alan Nathan is a fake. He knows nothing about supplements or the health food business.

Alan was nice to me...

AUTHOR: anonymous - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, September 11, 2015

...but in a creepy way. I walked in off the street and there was nobody around Absolute Nutrition. It was empty as a ghost town until Allan Nathan showed up and walked in. He asked if someone was helping me. I said "no." He then went on a hunt for the president of the company who was nowhere to be found. According to Alan Nathan--the president is  rarely there. I wouldn't want to be there either. I bought some weightloss product but was really looking for Protein powder. They didn't make any. Alan was telling me about his big plans for Absolute Nutrition but I knew it was all B.S. The product I bought did not work for me at all. I should have known by the sandwhich board out front what I may be in for (not too professional). Also, Alan Nathan gives off one creepy vibe--he smiles non stop and it looks forced. He blamed most of the company's downfall on his president greg scully. I talked to people who knew the scene at Absolute Nutrition and they said that when they hired Mr. Scully, the company went downhill fast! I think Absolute was owned by Zak Nathan, Alans' brother. Maybe still is, but Zak is a well known scammer. My advice to consumers is to not use their products. They are hard to find in any healthfood store so most people are safe. Their website is ridiculous. No one really works at Absolute Nutrition due to  the fact that the president is a micro manager that hates everyone.  I was told by an ex employee that he (Scully) was such an a--hole, that they could not keep anyone there.  Better for the consumer that Absolute fold into the sunset anyhow.

#4 UPDATE EX-employee responds

I was asked to create fake product

AUTHOR: Anonymous - ()

POSTED: Thursday, January 02, 2014

I used to work for a company that created products for Absolute Nutrition.

I was asked by Alan Nathan to make substandard product. He didn't want to pay more than (I think it was 1.50 per bottle) which he would then sell for 25.00 or so per bottle. He didn't care about the people ingesting his product. He had a partner named Seth Darvick who created their line. It was moving well but not fast enough for Alan. As soon as he heard about Alan's scheme, that was it. Arguments ensued and Seth headed back to ad agencies. They brought in a guy named Greg who had a long list of failed products and was willing to do anything for Alan and found a company willing to produce junk for them. Then they had the brilliant idea of repackaging everything in poorly written Spanish and market to Latinos. Add another flop added to the resume of their president Greg ? I think Absolute is absolutely gone by now.

Still Ripping People off

AUTHOR: Anonymous - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, July 03, 2013

Finally after over 15 years the company known as Absolute Nutrition has added some new product on their pitiful website. It's all low-end fad stuff that will help you lose weight by lightening your checkbook, not your body fat.  This company at one time was one of the best until it changed strategy (and it's logo 3 times). Some of the worst marketing ever and they've pretty much dropped off the radar screen. If there are any rebuttals that tell you to call a customer number for a true testamonial, you'll get the president (LOL) of the company trying to convince you to buy some of their junk. Absolute has now resorted to putting a sign on the road in front of their grimy headquarters exclaiming a weightloss sale. It looks like the lettering from the Little Rascals. They will sell to passing motorists as well as any other shmuck that wants to burn his or her money.

LIke 2 Peas in a Pod

AUTHOR: Patty Myers - (United States of America)

Both Alan and Zak Nathan should have a business together called "flush it."

Any money you put into anything they are involved with--will be better served either flushing down a toilet, or doused with lighter fluid and lit.

Both these guys will defend each other (of course) like Leapold and Loeb and will surely do so out of a prison cell somewhere, hopefully in Mexico.

Alan is a fake accountant and his brother sells bogus real estate. They think Bernie Madoff is stupid for getting caught.

The rumors about Alan Nathan are false

AUTHOR: Zak - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, January 31, 2011

My name is Zak and I am Alan's older brother. Whoever is writing bad things on this site about him has the facts completely wrong. He is a good businessman and accountant and he is my brother. Everything written about him is false. If you are attacking my brother, then you are attacking me and that is not going to happen. Please stop writing about Alan and stop being a coward hiding behind a computer.
