Amerassist Debt Settlement Company Turnaround Management Corp The program cost my double of what they told me. Don't use Amerassist!!!! Westerville, Ohio

I went with this company because the economy made are business slow down and we started struggling.   I owed 90k to creditors.  I set up a plan to pay them per month $1645.00 for two years, and that would come to 40k.  So I would save around 50k.  Well Im at my 24 months and I have paid out not only the 40k to them but extra money came out of my pocket of around 15k so far in that 24 month time period.  But now I have to pay on three credit cards that I will pay around $2300.00 month for the next 10 months out of my pocket.  Plus Amerasssit wants another 4 to 5k of fees.  So I have already paid out 40k for the 24 months and on top of that the extra 15k I have paid out, now I will be paying 23k for the next 10 months- that comes to now 78k total I will pay out plus I still need to pay them fees of around 4k 5k.  If I pay them the fee's my total is 83k.  So that will save me 7k of debt.  I would have been better off not doing this program.  Im only saving 7k.  On top of that they settled on one of my accounts without getting a settlement letter first and paid them.  Now I'm trying to settle with them again.  Other problems with this company is that they only cut checks once a week.  This has caused problems with settling accounts at the end of month.  I have paid out of my own pocket on a lot of settlement because they couldn't cut checks.  They have missed payments to creditors too.  All they want is your money.  They tell you what you want to here when you start the program and then its all downhill from there.  You also get assigned a different person every 3 to 6 months.  So now I'm paying 2300.00 a month until July Aug of 2011.  My program end with them on Dec 14th 2010.  They want 4k to 5k in fees now.  I told them that I couldn't afford to pay them all of that and so now they are wanting monthly payments of around 400 to 600 a month for the next 9 months, and I would pay the creditors out my pocket.  So I would be paying around 2900.00 month for the next 9 month to 10 months.  This is getting way out of control and putting me at risk financially.  They have put me in worse spot then I was 24 months ago.  Live and learn the hard way I guess.  Then we wonder why are country is going to crap, because companies like Ameassist.  They also want to charge me fees per month for the next 9 to 10 month for keeping the account opened up.  There so unorganized they don't even know what I owe in fees.  They have on there books that they made payments when really I did.  Now they don't want to communicate over emial only by phone so there is no paper trail.  At this point I have had with this company and don't plan on paying them unless the judge makes me.  See you in court Amerassist I hope I win!!!!!  If I don't this country is really really going to crap!!!!
