American Auto Shield Sells false contract sfor repairs to your automotive vechical and there are a lot of hidden stuff that they fail to tell you in the contract Arvada, Colorado

They sell you a false contract. They leave out a lot of important details that they don't do when selling you the contract. They don't want to pay!

Purchased a contract with American Auto Shield on 2/16/2012. I pay them 117.50 a month as a payment to have their contract. Contract # AAF778122. When I was sold the contract they told me all this stuff that if my car breakdown could take it to anyplace to be fixed. They told me that I would have no worries.

This was done over the phone so by the time that I received the contract to read they were taking payments out of my checking account. On their web site they have posted a statement that reads: A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is one dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.

It seems that they just want to take peoples money. Their claim reps (Chris Fieweger) which is supposed to be a supervisor, another rep named Brandon even down to their Client Relations Director William Winters who I called to complain about how I felt I was being treated and try to get some answers to why they were giving me the run around to repair my truck was very rude to me and unprofessional. My truck broke down on 5/25/12 and today is 7/13/12 and it still has not been repaired. I have called the company every week almost since my truck has been in the repair shop. They have put me the hell and my truck is
still not repaired. They had my mechanic to tear down the engine on my truck and they sent an inspector and tested the oil. They waited weeks till they told us what they needed next. Then they made me find all these receipts for oil changed that occurred before I purchased their contract and I was not required to keep receipts till I purchased the contract before they would look fourth into the issues. I fax them at least 8 receipts. Then they had the mechanic to do another teardown where he find that the connecting rods were broke and made the mechanic email them pictures (which the connecting rods are covered in the
contract) but they would not except that. But took another week to tell the mechanic do another teardown on the engine. This time the mechanic find that the oil pump (which is also covered in the contract) had went bad and they sent another inspector.

They still wouldn't fix the truck. They had the mechanic to do another teardown and pull the cylinder heads intake and engine block and heads (which are all covered in the contract) on the truck. It has been 44 days in which I had to get a rental which has cost me 3,256.00 (which rental is in the contract but they want pay for it until they decide to approve the claim or not. Also I had to pay 600.00 for towing (which is listed in the contract as an itemed covered) but they will only cover 18miles @ 75.00 only. At this cost I could have paid for the repairs but I paid this company for a contract they were supposed to fix my car. Now they call 44 days later to tell me that they want except the parts and engine my mechanic has gotten an want to ship me a used engine for 1900.00 which will take 5 more days without being put in and I still have to pay for a rental on my own or I can take that credit and pay the mechanic the rest out of my pocket. If this was all they were going to do why didn't they do that in the beginning instead of making me wait 44 days for really nothing?

What kind of company does this to customers? Im out of all this money and the money that I've paid them and my truck still not repaired. Now they want to tell me that there is a cap on everything they do. They never said that when they were selling me the contract. What does that mean I have never been treated so bad as a customer? When you call them they are rude and disrespectful to customers. I'm having all the people I referred to them to cancel their contract cause this company is a rip off and they only want to take your money and not help the client. So their saying on the web site of how the customer is the reason is not true.
