Invested in Beka Development (run by Daniel Evans of Atlanta, GA) in 2009, which was developing Boucaan Resort in the Bahamas. Land was allegedly under contract, investors lined up, casino lined up, hotels lined up, for development with cruise ship port of call, golf course, retail shops, residential development. Bahamian Govt was behind the project and had approved it. I invested in what was alleged to be a shovel ready project. Beka was already looking for other sites in the Caribbean to duplicate what was happening at Boucaan.

After my investment, one issue after another cropped up to derail the project. Then it was moved to Sound Point in Eleuthra. Then silence over the last year. Daniel Evans reportedly has moved to Florida, changed his phone number and email.

Definitely worthy of some investigation.
