Do not trust these people. They operate several business names such as blind and shutter pros, shoreline shutters, seven seas shutter, 7 seas shutters, broadway shutter and I'm sure more that we do not even know about.

Mike Margott is the ring leader of the operation. Just Google his name and you will see how many people he has ripped off over the years. He took me for over $100,000 in shutter, as I was his supplier at one time. He buys shutters from China from a factory that makes a very low quality product. It is finger jointed wood and you can see the defects in the wood. They take your money and do not deliver on the product they promise. They sweet talk you and convince you that everything you read is false and their words are the truth. I wonder why it is so many people bad mouth them and it's not true!!!... HHMMMMM, it must be true. He has opened and closed more business names than anyone you will ever meet. They burn a vendor, take the money and start all over again. They charge an illegal 50% deposit on order and do not comply with the california Stat contractors Lic board. He has put everything into his kids names (Christopher Margott and Vincent Margott) to hide his name from Good people. I'm sure they will write a a response on here and bad mouth me and try to make everyone think that they are the victim. They are always the victim according to any of the Margott's. Just look them up, see all the poor reviews and then read their responses, it a joke. But they will write one anyway and misspell word and not use proper grammer (That's Mike Margott's lack of education).

The bottom line is; they may not rip off everyone, but are you willing to take a chance and play Russian Roulette with a Margott?

They have had every house they live in foreclosed on (Just look at the venture county public records), Mike just recently filed bankruptcy (you can see that in the public records as well and see all the vendors that I am talking about listed in it). He will still try to convince you that he is the good guy and a victim. Victims do not have so many complaint. Victims do not lose four houses to foreclosure. Victims do not file bankruptcy and list vendors, credit card merchant companies and customers that they ripped off in it. Rip off artists do that! They sure do drive nice new cars all the time though! At least until they run out of names to put them in. Look at his Bankruptcy, you'll see several cars that they turned in early or let get repo'd, and the amounts owed the banks. It's crazy and sad at the same time. The Margott kids are such great kids, however they are brainwashed by Mike and they follow his direction. I hope they see the light one day and do their own research. Who knows, maybe one day Mike Margott will be the Christian he says he is and do the right thing.

If you do however decide to do business with the Margott's (God be on your side!!), do not give them more than a 10% deposit on any order, no matter what they say. And make them write on the contract the EXACT date (or week of) that you will get your product installed. They hide behind the "APROX DATE" and never deliver product in the time frames customers expect.

Please do not be a victim to Mike Margott. Together we can get him out of the window covering business and stop the ripping off. Want to hear more, just call me, I do not hide under false names 805-526-3169 ext 4

I have heard from several people that Mike Margott is still at it and ripping people off. Do not use the blind and shutter pros, they are crooks and they will take your money.
