At the time of the event named below over four years ago in 2009, I was involved as a director of the aforementioned company.  When two major international sponsors dropped out of the event for cutback reasons after paying deposits which had allowed us to start the launches, we were left with a substantial shortfall and unable to replace the funds, though the key organizer and some other suppliers were partially paid.  Some were unpaid and we went into a voluntary administration to negotiate 100% of the payment over an extended period of time.  The offer was 100% so no one would lose a penny.  We did not have the legal or financial ability to chase these two international sponsors through expense legal exercises, one of which is a Fortune 500 international food giant who bought the original sponsor.

Regrettably one of the people involved took a personal legal issue to try and force bankruptcy so that the premiere launch company had to go into administration leaving the majority of creditors unpaid.  Strangely this person who led the charge was the ONLY one who didn't vote for the payment plan and he was paid a fair portion along the way before the sponsorships fell off.   Had he not taken this route, the entire debt would have been paid off by now over four years later.

This launch company was separate from the movie production company and the film and investors in that film were quarantined and protected from any other venture and project so that the film domestically and internationally could be distributed and any and all revenues protected to investors as is typical in any business venture to not co-mingle funds.

It was a highly regrettably business decision forced upon us by some horrific events and a couple small business providors were hurt by it and we were crushed that it went that way through no original fault of our own, but at the end we were responsible as owners and had to wear it.   It is common knowledge.  

Nevertheless all proceedings were legal and above board and nothing fake or 'manufactured' took place.  The person who filed this complaint did not have the courage to name himself and his 'anonymous' and rant would suggest it's someone with a personal vendetta whom is currently under investigation from the police and had an AVO (anti violence order) issued against him.  I have met with some of the previous debtors over time and they understood the procedure and situations, and I currently actively do business with a number of them today!

My business associates and people I do busines with every day hold me in high regard, and anyone who has done business with me knows the facts of the aforementioned matter before we embark on any mutual ventures.
